I live in what an American would call a suburb, but all the houses are right next to each other, front yards are nonexistent, white picket fences are replaced by big iron gates, and the dogs tend to be mongrels rather than golden retrievers (good thing, too).

Urban, the few houses that remain are being bought and replaced by buildings, most of which are at least 8 floors.

I live in suburbia, land of Hummers, cookie cutter houses and Starbucks on every corner. I wish I was in a city.

I'm probably halfway between semi rural and full on rural. There are houses nearby, but not many, and the nearest decent sized town ins about 15 miles away...

I like it though. Its quiet, lovely landscape, fresh air, everyone knows each other, lots of animals and plenty of fun to be had with guns.

Whenever I go to a city - in my own country at least - I feel like I'm boxed in and I usually can't wait to leave.

I beg to differ, for the reasons mentioned above :p

It is all down to personal preference though, if your not keen on hills and forests etc. and outdoors kind of activities, I can imagine its living hell. The only thing I don't like about living in the country is the lack of nightlife and good live music. I'm not a fan of village dances ¬_¬
