Sorry, I'll start over.
Games Done Quick is a semi-annual speed running marathon that raises money for either Doctors Without Borders or the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
For a whole week, you can tune into their Twitch stream hosted on their site (or Twitch) itself and watch some of the best runners in video games glitch, exploit, and clip through walls to get to the end credits of some of your favorite games in mind-boggling low times.
Donate to choose file and character names, choose options, outfit characters, and select your endings. Last year, Summer Games Done Quick raised 1.2 million dollars for Doctors Without Borders.
Just hide the dumpster fire that is Twitch chat and you'll have a good time.
EDIT: Oh, and Save the Frames or Save the Animals is a reference to their marquee donation incentive, which is whether or not to spend the time to save the critters at the end of Super Metroid or not. It's faster to let them die, but Samus is better than that, in my opinion.
