Poll: Summer or winter Olympic games?

I got an english debate on whether Summer Olympics are better than Winter Olympics or vice-versa. Personnaly I am defending the Summer Olympic games. I would like to know what you people think and perhaps, while we're at it, help me find some arguments.

I voted summer, i meant to vote winter. I live in the valleys and near a ski resort, I find the winter sports far more fun. If American footie was in the summer olympics I'd vote for them. I kinda want to see otehr countries play american footie

Summer olympics: zzz hockey, zzz horse events such as dressage, zzz atheletics

winter olympics: ice skating, skeleton luge, snowboarding and skiing events, ice hockey

I don't care too much for the Summer Olympics, but I love the Winter Olympics. It helps being Swiss-Canadian: Two cultures that are mountain/snow oriented.

I prefer the Summer Olympics, as I actually play some of the sports in the Summer Olympics.

Countrywide though, the Winter Olympics is much preferred, mostly because we actually have a chance of winning. (Canada)

Winter has hockey, I like hockey. Being from Vancouver I can say winter Olympics are AMAZING.

I prefer the winter Olympics (besides the fact us Canucks rocked this winter olympics).

the summer Olympics is more inclusive in which it allows a greater pool of nations to participate in the events in which many events don't require are more simplistic in a way. While the winter Olympics, I believe, you truly see an athletes skill and ability.
