No but seriously, the poll is a bit weird. Who's just having sex a couple of times? People who've only just got into their first relationship? People who've had a couple of one night stands? Wouldn't more sensible options be something like:

Occasionally -in a longer relationship
Often -random partners
Often -in a longer relationship

EDIT: I misread it I thought they were talking about having sex with people who are NOT your partners. Not the amount of times you've had sex.

Uhhh hundreds of times I guess, 99% of those times would be with my ex of 1.5 years but about a dozen of those times were just with other girls. And I'm 20 if my age matters in this little poll.


Edit: Wow a lot of people put sex on a ridiculously high pedestal. It's one thing to be careful and safe but its a whole different story to actively avoid it.

Yes. I hit puberty between the age of 7 & 8.

There aren't enough options available to get an age breakdown by demographic, so let's say you can only vote in this thread if you are between the ages of 18 and 30 - typically the people most likely to moan about not getting any, but not so young that it's technically against the law if they did have sex.

Age of consent varies between countries so you should probably have just gone for "if you're above the age of consent" if at all.

I will admit its rare. The only other person I know like that is one of my friends who has health problems (just to be clear: to her, sex=harmful, pregnacy=fatal). For us, its because we dont see the point when we can get just as close while keeping our clothing on and talking. That and it just doesnt fit into our sceduale of videogames, military, anime, military, classic cars and motorcycles, military, writing stories, and maybe some military if we have nothing else to do.

Now I am curious. I mean there are a few asexual/nonsexual people on the escapist but I hadn't considered that they were in long term relationships.

What, so just because i am asexual, that somehow means I cant love someone as more than a friend and want to spend the rest of my life with them and start a family. I just dont like sex. AT ALL! But I like hugging, cuddling, and kissing (but those last 2 are reserved for gf). And trust me, if there was a way to have my own biological children without having sex, I would take it.

Yes, and it looks like it's heading that way. The 0 (and everything in between) pretty much includes people who have never been in a committed sexual relationship (or people who don't pay close attention to what they read). So, it's pretty much split evenly between girl virgins and boy virgins, and girls in relationships versus boys in relationships. Therefore, we can postulate that technically on a simple straight forward immature way of looking at it, girls can get laid just as easily as boys. Technically speaking.

I imagine a better poll would be "Are you a virgin over the age of 18?" and have categories for both men and women.

Yeah, this poll is kind of absurd. I had sex dozens of times with just one boyfriend, and I've had quite a few boyfriends.

that would be a slightly better way, except that polls here mean nothing, i can vote female virgin there while being male with +100, no way to check is there. even on anonymous polls people lie and troll.

That way, we can ignore "players" who would brag about sleeping with 10 different women or alleged "sluts" who might fudge their own number of sex partners. If you've only had sex ten times with ten different people, it would pale in comparison to someone in a committed relationship who has had sex countless times, if you're looking at raw numbers.

But surely for the sake of finding out who can get laid easier, you want to know how many guys/girls are successful players? After all, we could all probably find one person who's lonely and desperate enough to get into a relationship with us and once you've seduced someone once you usually don't really need to try that hard the next time(s), especially if you're in a relationship.

Would have thought the real test would be getting successfully seducing multiple people?
