Poll: Super Smash Bros: Brawl, Most Overpowered Characters

Ike id definitely the most broken, and he is awesome! his Final Smash is awesome. the others have their benefits and weaknesses fairly well balanced (mainly high speed = low power or vice versa) and though Ike is slow, he isn't slow enough to warrant his power

Actually, I think Brawl was incredibly well-balanced. The only real flaw in the balancing is Ike in a time match. Specifically a time match. I could take Ike one-on-one with a plethora of characters: he's strong, but his speed makes up for it. The problem is in a time match, where the goal is to get the most KOs, 'cause he comes in and cleans up the people that got damaged fighting each other. But who plays time anyway? Stock is the way to go. And in that case, Ike's advantage is lost. When your only real balance flaw is so specific, I say that's a win.

FIRST OF ALL: in the poll for the most OP character, "IKE" is the most OP??? BS! and why is king dedede even up there, when SNAKE is not???? I agree with metanight, but snake is right behind him. i can see how wolf MIGHT be slightly op because of his over A smash attack, but IKE? i mean ike can be a beast with the right player, but really? and why is sonic up there? i could only think of his final smash, (it is rigged), but you shouldnt even take final smashes into account because nintendo really screwd up there if they wanted real players to use them, of course there gonna be imbalanced, i mean look at DK and jigglylpuffs (yeah i know there not bad sometimes on a small stage), but wow really. yeah but they need to fix snake and metanight

I mean, yeah, the objective answer is Meta Knight (no one else can claim to be truly "overpowered" but the guy with insane recovery, no lag after most of his moves, the almost impossible to interrupt Mach Tornado, and super-powerful kill moves like his down-smash, sweetspotted Nair, and Shuttle Loop), but still.

Also, Wolf really shouldn't be an option (it's not his forward smash that's the problem, by the way, but his down smash). Also, Snake is up there, with more votes than DDD.

I think Snake and Metakngiht are the only overpowered guys.
Ike is strong but slow, snake is strong and FAST.

I vote Ike because he can Forward Smash most characters across the screen on 20% damage.

Tiers are bullshit. They mean nothing but that people can't play well with them.

Some characters may be HARDER to learn then others but none are "crap" or "overpowered".

In the right hands, everyone can pwn.

Whenever I can talk my friends into playing, they banz0r me from playing as Zelda, ESPECIALLY in 1v1 =( (And that's Zelda, I never touch Sheik)

Though, one of said friends is a serious Jigglypuff whore, so I guess it pans out.

While Brawl is pretty balanced, Ike is too strong. And Pit is cheap for a couple reasons.

1. He can fly. (Yes I know Kirby can too).

2. Spammy projectile.

3. And Reflector.

how has no one here said anything about MrGame&Watch? I know its about the same power of dedede, but his agility and strong attacks just seem rediculous.
As far as Ike, I think marth is a bigger threat t(-_-t) Ike just isn't that fast :L
meta night and pit, I know they are good characters and all, but I'm really butt hurt about guys flying all over the map infinatly.
My fav characters would have to be lucas and toon L. I don't think toon is really that strong just don't get hit by a charged attack (like with any other character), Lucas: PK THUNDER alllllll over the place ;p

(you have no idea how hard it was to type all that on my wii... lol)

Wolf is my personal favorite character in the game, but I'd have to say the strongest is probably Metaknight. Gotta go fast.

This guy knows. Wolf's forward smash is really useful, but it has weak killing power. The upsmash and downsmash are his kill moves. Also I'd say his gun is the best of any of the Starfox characters because it has a melee attack with knockback attached to it. It's disappointing that people would rather see him removed than Falco, Wolf is way more distinct.

Ike is 'overpowered' if you don't know how to deal with him. For people who are more familiar with the game he can be beaten quite easily especially with a fast character.

I will say Meta Knight is overpowered because all his special attacks can act as a recover. And his up (air) attack has so much range so its irritating once he gets you up in the air.
Zelda is getting there for me since her attacks are like Ike's but faster. Since there is no visible sword as well, I find it difficult to predict when the attacks will pop up. Also Din's fire.

Pit for me. Maybe it's just because I suck and my brother is really good, but between the shield, the increased flying, the spinning weapon that never stops, and controllable arrows, I can't deal with it.
