I know that people outside the United States are unlikely to care about this, but hopefully they'll be tactful enough to just move on rather than posting an endless array of different versions of "I don't care".

I think the Steelers have the superior team, while the leaders of the Packers (Aaron Rogers and Clay Matthews) are probably the most talented. It's going to be a close game, but I think the depth of the Steelers will eventually win out.

What does the Escapist think?

You should've added an option for those of us who aren't watching it. I live in the U.S. but watching a bunch of guys throw a ball around a field just isn't appealing to me.

Gonna be watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet instead.

I'm taking the Packers in this one. Pouncey is out for the Steelers so that puts the running game mostly out of question and the Packers run game just isn't that good either so that makes it a Aerial attack. And outside of Polamalu the Steelers don't have great DB's, well great enough to match up with the Pack attack. But on the flip side I feel that the Packers have better overall DB's as well as the fact that Big Ben isn't a great passing QB. My final score is 31-24 Pack

I'm not trying to be a dick dude, but c'mon. The OP said he knows most people on the Escapist don't care and that he hopes everyone will be tactful enough to not reply constantly "I don't care." The thread title made it clear what it was about, the OP was pretty clear about who it was intended for, so there was really no need to reply the way you did

Well, I guess my hopes for people refraining from telling us they don't care were unwarranted. Congratulations on confirming my lack of faith in humanity again, people.

For the record, though, take how much you don't care, then multiply it by pi time 10^12. That's how much I don't care about your apathy. I will not add an "I don't care/I'm not watching" option, because people who don't care can simply not vote.

Pretty "meh" Superbowl for me, I was hoping the Cowboys would have made it this year so I could possibly consider going. Instead I'm just gonna have to stay at home instead of going to the Fry's in Arlington for some computer stuff, already horrid traffic there. On a related note, I've always had a fondness for the Packers so I guess I'll vote for them. :]

I don't have as much as an interest this year, but I think the Packers will win. I want them to, at least. Anyone but the Steelers.

I think the Steelers will win, but I really want the Packers to win because the refs gave Pittsburgh the last superbowl they were in that I watched.

Oh god do I wish Green Bay could win this... But I'm gonna have to say Steelers. Even though I despise them in every way possible.

Being a Bengals fan sucks sometimes...

The Steelers probably will win, but I'm rooting for The Packers. Steelers already have six rings, someone else should get one every once in a while (yes, that's my entire reason for rooting for The Packers)

I think those who think this will be the most-watched Super Bowl of all time are fooling themselves; this one has a Ben Roethlisberger angle and a post-Favre Packers team, but that is nowhere near the amount of storylines of previous Super Bowls (last year's Saints vs. Colts, for example, probably had the best storyline for a Super Bowl ever) Even so, I think today will be a good game.

Being one of the few Steelers fans who will admit many my cohorts are obnoxious, I'm also one of the few Steelers fans who will admit sympathy for your plight. I know you think I may not understand, but I do. Don't believe me? I've got one word for you... Pirates.

Being a Pittsburgh native, I'm going with the Steelers on this one. If they play the Packers like they played the second half of the Jets game though, they're going to get squashed.

I'm going for the Stealers on the basis that they come from my Home state.

Go, Stealers!

Thanks, you're a unique breed :p

Hopefully high draft pick + New offensive coordinator - Ochocinco = a decent record. Good luck tonight, just for your sake :)

Oh yeah, and pirates. Totally.
