Poll: Superbowl time!

It's that time of the year again folks for Americas biggest sporting event, the NFL Superbowl. Now I am heartbroken my Titans were defeated by the ravens, but I still look forward to the game anyways.

We have the Cardinals vs the Steelers, not exactly my idea of an epic match up but still should be a pretty good game.

Pittsburgh has the #1 defense in the country as well as previous Bowl experience
Arizona has a vet quarterback and statistically a better offense

Now I think that Pitt will win because IMO defense trumps offense but I'm rooting for Arizona because I like Kurt Warner, they are underdogs, they aren't yankees, and they haven't won the superbowl.

So who is your pick?

I'm in really big trouble with this one.

I have been a Pittsburgh fan since I was ten years old and began to care about professional football, their powerful record notwithstanding (I just picked them because their uniforms matched the Iowa Hawkeyes and that my dad liked them). But upon watching them lose to Dallas at Superbowl XXX, I learned about their impressive record and have been keeping track since.

They were first team to win four Super Bowls, and only Dallas has been there more times (8) than Pittsburgh (7), and Dallas has given them their only defeat at the 'Bowl. They are 5-1 with Super Bowls, tied with Dallas and San Francisco for the most wins, and with this season they could break the record. This team is a dynasty. I feel good about this one too. Once again Pittsburgh's defense is the "Steel Curtain" and not just a "tinfoil curtain."

Here is where my problem is: I am a full time student (senoir) at the University of Northern Iowa. Kurt Warner went to this very same college! I work at the same grocery store he worked at! I work with people who worked with him while he stocked shelves! They will hate me for wearing my Pittsburgh tie!

Now, I'm not going to back down for my affinity for Pittsburgh, but at the same time I'm going to be stepping on a lot of toes.
