I wanna know which kind of super hero you prefer: the ones with super powers (i.e. Superman, Spiderman, Thor) or the ones without super powers (i.e. Batman, Iron Man, Kick Ass).

DECIDE NOW!

With powers, of some sort.
I'd consider Iron Man to have some sort of "power", or I at least consider him to be a real super hero.
All Batman does is jump around in a cape and punch people, where Iron Man basically becomes a flying robot man that can shoot missiles out of his shoulders.
Non "powered" super heroes were always too realistic and boring for me.

Without.
Because seriously, who would pick anyone over Batman?
And if you do, then you're a freak. And you know it.

In all honesty I'd choose Hit girl over Batman any day.. Batman is so.. Boring. He is like.. Well, a bat. Just less, screamish.

That is my opinion though, each to their own. =)

Depends what you consider a "power"

Batman has the power of being a super detective. The movies don't really do that justice but the comics do (or at least they did, I haven't read comics in forever).

Iron Man has the power of having advanced knowledge of mechanics to build his suit. The suit itself gives him powers anyway.

The guy in Kick Ass had the power to continue fighting and stand up for himself even when he got beaten down time and time again.

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that all these heroes have powers, it's just that Batman, Iron Man, and Kick Ass's powers are more realistic and easier to relate to compared to being a super powerful alien and only weak against something thats not from this planet.

EDIT: If those aren't considered powers then I'll take the powerless because I can't relate to a guy that shoots web from his wrists or super aliens.

Personally, I prefer my superheroes not to have superpowers in the traditional sense. The martial arts based superheroes, like Batman (although I'm pretty sure most of Batman's appeal stems from him beating enemies a good few orders of magnitude more awesome than he is) are a lot more fun because there's a sense of vulnerability there. At the end of the day, they're still human, a lot more human that a man who can fly and break cars in half and stuff.

My favourites, though, are the smart people. Call it wish fulfillment, but I love it when protagonist superheroes think their way around problems rather than just punching it. Maybe that's why I like the villains more than the heroes most of the time; they're the actual smart ones and the heroes are an inherently destructive rather than creative force.

And I bloody hate magic superheroes. They can all piss right off.

super heroes have super powers, without them they're people with toys really. I would argue however that iron man had super intelligence. Though not a power, its pretty damn super.

Anyhoo Iron man wins over all.

I like both kind.
The once with super powers are cool, since they can have a crazy power. I just love Deadpool (hehe i think you all know that). He is just soo.. silly, bat shit crazy and soo funny. I can't stop reading his comic. They can be silly from start to end. They can be super serious and sometimes they can be both.

The once without are also cool, since they have too use their brain much more or gadget or other cool things. Batman... Awesome. Punisher... Crazy, but cool... Aaaah i love them all.

Actually, I've seen comics where he doesnt even have powers and its all technology.

OT: hm... Well, Having powers make you seem less super and somewhat prickish. But not having them makes you seem more super but more dickish.

And really,w hen you go up against the average baddie, all you need is a gun (shown in kickass).

BUt my favorite superhero is the Green Lanturn, and so far as I know he's akinda a corss between both cause the energy is in him, but he needs the ring to use it. So I dont know what to answer.

Well even the "non-powered" superheroes like Batman are super powered. Batman accomplishes physical feats that are completely impossible in real life, has taken rediculous ammounts of punishment (especially blows to the head), is a polymath (he's a genius in multiple advanced fields), the "world's greatest detective", an olympic level gymnast, one of the DCU's greatest martial artists, etc. All before he was 30. He also has the power of LIMITLESS MONEY. There are super powered heroes who are more plausible than Batman.

Not that I don't love the character and many others, but realistically they are all super human.

Anyway to answer the original question I'd have to go with super powered.
