I'm not a fan so I'd probably just drink all their sake and call it a night. that being said however, I don't dislike it either. We leave each other alone and get along fine that way.

I say meh, I'd much rather be eating a good steak!
That's unfair though, steak beats everything (especially rump stake mmmmmmm)
Alas my friend you'd probably not like the sake either, anyone I know that doesn't eat sushi hates sake.

As for steak I say Rib Fillet. When you cook it off all the marbling melts into the meat keeping it tender - even if you are a heathen and eat you meat over done - and gives it a velvety flavour!

I've drank some pretty nasty spirits before just cos they were there and I had nothing else, I might be able to handle it. Also I like rump cos it tastes good and you get alot of meat for your money (that sounds like a porn slogan hmmmm...)

Meh it really depends on where I get it. I think the best sushi I had was surprisingly at a ballpark. Safeco Field in Seattle has amazing sushi, at least the last time I went there.

Sushi is delicious. Love it. I mean, I was a bit apprehensive at first, as in, "seaweed?!?! The fuck?!?!?!" but then I actually gave it a try, now it's one of my favourite snacks.

I've only ever tried it once...

But I'd love to try it again at some point. It was beautiful.

I love sushi, even though I hate most cooked fish.

My favorites are Bubba Rolls (shrimp tempura with avocado, cream cheese, scallions, and eel sauce), Volcano Rolls (a tuna roll topped with an orange, creamy, spicy, sweet sauce with scallops), and Toro. I also love the pickled ginger they serve with sushi.

Never tried it, i mean, ITS RAW FISH.

I would eat it if they cooked it.
They do have cooked sushi, like ones with tempura in them.

You can have vegetarian sushi. I - as an omnivorous male - often do have vegetarian sushi mixed in with my regular sushi.

And as a guy who has a bizarre prejudice of almost anything coming out of Japan (nothing racist there, I just don't get their culture) I love the taste of sushi. Love it.

My favourite is a simple avocado and salmon roll.

Strangely enough, despite the fact that I am learning Japanese and considering moving there sometime within the next few years I am yet to try it.

There should be a poll for 'I haven't tried it' not just for my sake, but it's a pretty standard option for questions such as these.

Sushi isn't raw fish, at least, not exclusively.

'Sashimi' means raw fish in Japanese, Sushi is a delicacy that just frequently has it in it.

There's an obvious statement about annoying twatface weeaboos here but I just don't care enough.

Sushi is food. edible like anything else and basically if you like seafood, you probably like sushi. there's no special OH EM GEE SO DELISH DESU DESU factor to it.

So yeah, I like it, but I'm not gonna rave about it on any level above how I would any other seafood.

Fun fact: Sushi isnt actually raw fish. Its a very big misconception among many people. The seasoned-rice thats in the roll is actually the sushi. But since sushi is usually served with fish, people began to mistake that for being the sushi. Raw fish by itself is called sashimi (sa-she-me). So you dont have to like seafood to like sushi. Just throwing that out there ^__^.

Touché, but it's fair to say they go hand in hand, especially considering the fermented fish and rice origins.

But thank you 'Otaku' person for backing up the weeaboo connection there (no way to make that sound lighthearted but be assured that it is)

I love raw fish a little too much for my own good; I have such a hard time not gobbling down a steak of tuna before I'm finished grilling it.

Where can you get a hold of sushi-grade fish?

Ok, I wasn't going to say anything but this is getting ridiculous. You don't need to quote and make a new reply to say the same thing over and over individually, you can copy their post and stick it into your first reply so your single (same) reply is responding to everyone.
