I don't fear that swine flu is a major threat, it's only killed a few people, like a child dies every 30 seconds from Malaria.

It's only a crisis because the media says it is. If we were left to judge for ourselves individually this to me would be about as little a threat as seasonal flu or diarrhoea. What you need to remember is that when they have these people on the news, these experts of whatever, saying that "Yes, we can expect to see deaths"... seasonal flu kills people just as easily. Don't let this get to you. Bird flu was bullshit. The last 2/3 doomsdays have been bullshit. This...this is a media exaggeration.

I'm not to worried as we've stored masses of drug to combat this in response to Bird Flu. Also the cases haven't been to severe outside Mexico, obviously I will be more careful if I get a cold. However there's no point me hiding in an air tight room for fear of my life.

OT:This itself isn't much of a threat, last I checked, there were only 16 deaths absolutely attributed to it. Thing is, they've found strains of Bird Flu in it, which is worrying, as it means that Bird Flu is indeed getting closer to humans. But this itself is little threat.
