Now, alot of you probably dont remember this, but back in the early 80s (Think I was around 9 or 10 when it started) Atari had the idea for an 'epic' adventure called swordquest, which was to consist of 4 games, based off all the elements, and named accordingly - Swordquest Earthworld, Swordquest Fireword, Swordquest Waterworld, and Swordquest Airworld.

There would be clues within each game, and whoever found all of the clues of each game (They came out at in the above order) would enter a contest for a very valueble prize, where they would compete in a custom version of the game against the others who got into the contest after solving all the clues. Whoever beat the custom version first would win the prize. They werent your run-of-the-mill plastic shit, this was a serious prize worth competing for. For waterworld there was to be a diamond-and-gem-encrusted crown, but the contest was to be cancelled, probably because the industry crashed around that time. Atari was bought, and airworld wasnt even ever made.

The prize for airworld was to be another gem/diamond-incrusted, gold item, a philosophers stone, which looked more like a pyramid. All of the prizes were valued at $25,000, which is even more today. The four winners of each game were supposed to compete in a contest at the end of it all for the sword, which had a silver blade, a golden handle, and of course, diamonds and gems, and that was valued at $50,000. Now, the stone, the crown and the sword were all never won, but we know they exist because they were on display during the contest. But I just want to say, for anyone who remembers, do you think Swordquest should be continued?

The sword must be won...
