Simple question. Do you prefer Tabletop Gaming, a la DND, Paranoia, Mutants/Masterminds, Console Gaming, or PC Gaming?

Myself, I like all of the above about equally, but when forced to choose, tabletop gaming, simply for it's openness.

I like (the idea of) DnD, I love Warhammer (40k and non), and PC gaming. Being a PC Gamer (mostly RTS, RPG, and good FPSs like tf2), I can't stand to see my beloved genres watered-down to fit the 'lowest common denominator' caused by consoles (both hardware-technically and game-mechanically - see SupCom 2, not a bad game, but certainly poor console related decisions).

I guess I'll say I prefer PC gaming...

I like tabletop gaming for it's ability to make me use my imagination and problem solving skills. I also choose Console gaming because that's what i grew up using for games.

I like ALL of the above, but not equally. I prefer PC gaming over the other two (slightly anyways) so I picked that.

The amount of people that talk about how much they like tabletop gaming on this site amazes me. I've never met a single person that prefers tabletop over video games of any kind. I've never met anyone that really played tabletop games either.

Wow, this is gonna turn flamey.

OT: I like PC and Console gaming equally, but I've never tried any sort of table-top gaming (unless you'd count card games like Magic in that category).

So I just picked All of the above because it was close enough.

If you're playing with people who know what they're doing, tabletop gaming is my fave. After that comes the PC. I used to really like console games, but of late, they're just not doing it for me any more.

Damn it! I missed the opportunity to pick grape soda banked! I love Senor Cardgage!

OT: I'm a console gamer mainly, but I dabble in tabletop gaming and PC gaming.

I've only played 1 table-top game, and it was one of the most fun things I have ever done.
However I prefer console games because they don't require the time and effort of table top games.

Tabletop if available. Having to get enough people who have enough free time at the same time and can continually get together to play is one hell of a task though. But when it all comes together it beats out all others, just because it can have the freedom of a sandbox game with the story and depth of a linear one.

I'm sorry, my brain short-circuited when I tried to figure out which of these formats I like the most. I know I don't like them all equally. Tabletop gaming is perfect for playing with others because that's how all of those games are designed. My PC gaming tends towards solitary, thoughtful exercises with time management and resource management leading the pack. And console gaming is, for me anyway, for stuff that is graphically intense and requires quick reflexes (read "for my arcade fix, since those don't exist anymore").

I've kind of had a falling out with consoles lately, mostly because I already have a perfectly good PC and can't justify spending money on a new console, but I've had plenty of good times with them in the past and expect I will again in the future. I've been spending a lot of time with PC games these days, but I'm also getting back into tabletop stuff, sort of. Not D&D anymore (although I'm getting back together with half my old D&D group to play other stuff soon), but thingslike various card/board-based strategy games and stuff. I never knew there was a card game version of Settlers of Catan, but I discovered it looking for something good for two players, and it's great.

Anyway, I have to go for all three, because I have a longstanding positive relationship with all of them.

Man I hope I never have to pick. If I did, I've have to go with Tabletop. What with being part of the mother chapter of the largest player run tabletop gaming organization in the United States with chapters spread clear across the country and all.

I'm sorta obligated.

Consoles, by far. Ya know, because I prefer to do as little thinking as possible before I jump into a game.

I like console gaming the most. PC gaming is too focused on graphics and not enough on gameplay, and I've never tried tabletop gaming. I probably should.
