Poll: Tales of League verbal abuse.

So here is how it works, Brand, Irelia, Tristana Lulu and I begin by going from the Nexus and doing our usual rounds. Now, here is the thing: After I get blue and red, yknow secure my buffs: I noticed that legit everybody is pushing with the exception of Brand. But that exception does not last long, he pushes a lot more later, but leaves me room to gank. Now, bot and top on the other hand? They push CONSTANTLY, by the fifteen minute mark or so, they are blaming me for all of their troubles because I have not ganked either lane, and Nasus has been down there constantly. Well, there is a good reason for that, you guys are pushing constantly and when you aren't pushed, I am either dead and they are ganking you or you are low on hp and coming down there to help now of all times would be stupid.

Needless to say, things escalated quickly when I tried to explain this, albeit in a condescending way, to reciprocate their rudeness I did not use name calling as they did. They went right to the ad hominem and started with the usual "Your bad" , and Irelia complains "Nasus has ganked top 4 times, and you haven't been there once." I asked her : "Why did Nasus gank top four times? Because you are legit ALWAYS pushing!" Brand even agreed with me, I managed to get some ganks for him, because he gave me ample room and did not just demand a gank when he was low on hp, and things were going wrong, go back to base, return to the grind of pushing and then state: "WE ARE NOT EVEN PUSHING." Its almost comical how these people do not look to their actions, they just know they aren't getting ganks and that is enough for it to be my fault.

I try to be as humble as possible, but seeing these rookies in the same ranked session as me? It's almost a cosmic joke, I have spent a year trying to get to gold with people like this constantly getting in my way. Granted, other things have happened today: The Lee sin who did not build tanky, the support Malphite who does not know rule one of supporting, or even the enemy team that was full of verbal abusing garbage. But this? It bugs me because I take responsibility for my own actions and own up to them, but when you complain about something, blame me without looking at your actions and then throw me under a bus with bashing and nastiness? Yeah, I went afk and left their asses. I was not about to put up with that, I'm gonna go check if the game is done now.

Forgive me for the poll, I keep trying to change it but it is not working despite the changes I make, just ignore it

Welcome to LoL. You haven't actually played until someone's insulted you.

The asstastic community is mostly why I quit playing.

Ah the old "blame the jungler for not winning my lane for me" thing eh? Yeah, that happens. A lot. The tried and true method is muting your entire team once they even start to point fingers. Once the game has evened out a little bit you can then unmute them to see if they've calmed the fuck down. It's my personal strat anyway.

I just hate when people see you taking your blue and are immediately pissy about it because since they locked mid at the start they are ENTITLED to THEIR blue! No I don't CARE if i'm going 0/4/0 I WANT your BLUE!

Yeah if have someone like Lee Sin or some other tryhard no mana character fine, you don't get much out of blue so it's less annoying. When i'm playing MAOKAI and my ult saves lives and wins teamfights by a country mile I need that to do things!

Who were you playing by the way? Just wondering.

Try getting a 5 man team together by the way. 5 man normals is like the best stress relief ever. Play Elise top, be OP at them while your Rammus/Draven bot lane is winning unconditionally 3 games in a row. Rammus forces people to attack him (while reducing their armour) while Draven does The Draven Pain Train damage on them for free.

As for Elise, try this simple combo on your opponent while farming:

Q,Q,Q,Q,Q,Q,R,Q

Your opponent should now be dead. Double percentage health damage on the same button, balanced lol.

Yeah, I don't get why mids feel entitled to blue like that. My main two positions are mid and jungle and I will tell you I need blue on my jungler early game far more than I do on my mid. People need to learn not to miss skill shots and waste mana on minion waves :/

The Main problem is, that most people think the Jungler is there to win the lane for you. Even if the Enemy Jungler does not gank, if they are doing bad, it's your fault for not showing up right away and evening the odds. What get's me going as well, is the Guys who think they are ENTITLED to the kills, resulting from a Gank. Dude, if you actually did something, you will get around 200G anyway, which is around 4 Creeps away from the 300 otherwise.

About the Blue thing, if i really need the Mana, i will take the buff. Usually, if you dont spam too hard while in Jungle, you'll manage without. There are exceptions ofc, Maokai being one i know off.

And concerning abuse, mute them. As soon as someone gets offensive, instant mute, unmute from time to time to see if they stopped, if not keep them muted. It will preserve your nerves, and also keeps you from writing back too much.

Hehe...I was playing League the other night and while playing as Zac my teamate Lux gave a REALLY bad leash that resulted in me wasting a full minute on jungle. I kept on asking her 'hey could you come back here, I could use the leash' and got literally no response.

Now, its okay if you don't wanna leash right or have no idea how to. That's fine.
Just don't fucking ignore me when I'm in the middle of farming 7800 for a character I've never played and its fucking 1 am in the morning and I'm being polite.

I asked her if she wanted second blue though - immediate response.

Lux: K.

Went there, I smited it and took blue.

Zac: "If you want it, next time make a decent leash and not ignore your teamate."

She immediately freaks the fuck out while I walk away not giving a shit.

Later in game?
I apologized while she continue to rage telling me that 'I suck dick' and that I'm 'a fucking retard'
She comes for second blue (no actually the SECOND but the second one I've offered her)

Went there, smited it and took blue.

She rages more.

Game continues onwards.

Another blue spawns, she immediately heads for it.

Went there, stood around forest wall, smited it.

More rage.

Late game rolls around

Zac: Hey Janna, want blue?

Much RAGE occurred

Best part?

Start of the game she 'jokingly' asked everyone to report the enemy Cho for saying 'Bad luck, no fun'.

I got yelled at by a Jax jungler, who's final score was 4/15, who claimed 'I was the worst support ever". He blamed me for not warding the jungle in the early game. That right there showed me this guy is a idiot. He would ask for mana then ***** at me when I couldn't silence the enemy within 2 seconds of giving him mana. I haven't soloed queued since then. Rather play with friends who don't bite my head off for everything.

I had a game as someone, I can't remember I quit LoL a while ago (I like dota better). Anyway, at the end of the match my teammate told me to kill myself, and I was like haha what?! but everyone agreed to report him so all was well. LoL is an awful community, I'd say worse than dota and that is saying something. Why such a rigid metagame?! arghhhh, makes everyone so touchy in that regard.

Yeah, I don't play LoL, but the DOTA community is slowly killing the game for me. I actually REALLY enjoy playing...I like the strategy, and the games are a good capsule size, and I like the many different combinations of heroes and items. However, I've graduated out of the cheerful "We all suck together!" newbie class into the "We still suck, but now we know enough to assume it's always someone else's fault" class. And it fucking sucks. And from what I can tell, it ain't going away any time soon.

Here's a flowchart to follow after dying in DOTA:

1. Was there a teammate nearby that didn't use an ability? It's his fault.
2. Was there a teammate nearby that DID use an ability? He used it wrong. It's his fault.
3. Was there a teammate nearby that failed to take the ability that could have saved you, even if he's only level 1? It's his fault.
4. Was there a teammate nearby with an item build you disapprove of? It's his fault.
5. Was your teammate NOT nearby, but jungling, or walking up from base, or buying something at the shop, or doing anything but hovering over you protectively? It's his fault.
6. Are there no teammates near you at all? Find a teammate on the map with a poor K/D. It's their fault.
7. Does everyone have a good K/D? It's mid's fault for not ganking enough.
8. Barring any of the above, search all available teammates for skills, items and stats until you find something awry. That's the culprit. That's why you died.
9. Ping the transgressor ferociously so everyone can see who is to blame for your misfortune. Type something withering in chat.
10. If you die again, attack the entire team verbally and rage quit, kicking off a storm of disconnects 5 minutes later.

I've got LoL and DOTA on my computer, but this is why I never got around to actually playing them.

Seriously, mids who think they are entitled to blue all have something in common: They are rookies who cannot manage their mana.

I'm a jungler myself. Psychologically, I'm perfect for the role because the nasties and abusers don't bother me, I'm happy to be a blame sponge and go about my business. The scenario that cracks me up the most is when I come charging into a pitched battle in top lane; both their health bars are dropping; it could go either way. I get there in time, unload some damage, and our top laner limps away with 50hp. Then, rather than a 'ty' or 'gj' I get 'ks' and a torrent of abuse. I wonder if Superman ever has to put up with this from his rescuees?

I always loved how Top players always blame Junglers, Mid players blame Top and bottom blames everyone else xD

I just LOVE how people don't ever see any flaws in themselves and blame others for their own mistakes

Funny, I've never got into to a particularly venomous situation in LoL (sometimes I found some assholes, but they usually didn't do much in terms of stupid crap).

Then again, I've always had good luck when it comes to not meeting up with the asshole players of most multiplayer games.

As a jungle player (for LoL, Dota, and HoN [Yeah, I play all three. Problem? =P]) I think everyone can benefit from watching that video.

Dont worry, once you get to the high/very high tier a lot of it goes back to "Well what can we do next time?"

I play in the normal skill a good bit, and its always trash talkers. When I hitch a ride to upper tiers (which I excel in... surprisingly...) everyone works together and everyone knows their position.

I like jungling because I disappear into the creep camps and never have to see a laner until the moment where I feel like fighting someone (unless some asshole shaco decides to counterjungle everything that exists). Even then, every lane will ***** that you never ganked enough, no matter how many kills you've handed to other lanes. It doesn't matter if the team is fed, it only matters if that one damn lane is fed.

My personal favorite is the katarina who steals my entire wraith camp on the first clear while I'm in the middle of doing them (as jungle leona, for whom that's actually a decent setback), and then rages at me for taking some mid lane minions while her dumb ass is dead. The lane minions are always "theirs" while jungle creeps are open season. And don't get me started on blue buff. What, Fizz? You have mana problems for spamming your ***** stick on every single wave of minions? Wow, I have mana problems, experience problems, and gold problems, but sure, you deserve it pal.

Seriously. I'm not claiming to be an expert. I'm not even level 30 yet but I actually never go for blue. If we have a jungle I leave it to them. Between me playing a constant ahri mid and ashe bot I learned to last shot minions pretty nice and harass at the same time. Though I will say early on as in playing off and on for only 2 months I encountered probably the worst member of the community I've seen. It was my very first normals game and I was playing with my buddy...a season 1 level 30. In other words I was really out of my league here. Still I played my Ashe but as you might've guessed I got my ass handed to me thoroughly. I used the lame excuse of inexperience and I even said they could blame the loss on me. I blamed the loss on me. One guy in particular was like "Yeah. Ok I blame the loss entirely on you. You should quit and uninstall."

He claimed to have never lost a match normals or otherwise until that game. I highly doubt it myself, never checked his profile or whatever. Still he was telling someone who admitted he was inexperienced and probably way out of his depth with that game to uninstall. Hell even when I find rude people I never tell them to do that. I want other people to play the games I enjoy. Its not some exclusive gentlemen's club or something.

Once had a person yell at me for having a demonblade tryndamere skin when I was level 20 and was a birthday present from a friend. If I'm not good at a game, I'm retarded for spending money (that I never spent) on something I might enjoy.
