Actually, it can be quite smart.

T-bagging will result in a personal rivalry, if you are t-bagged, you will be more likely to seek the said t-bagger, and destroy him for revenge, weather you notice it or not, you will get a satisfaction for killing him.
It takes you out of the objective, and makes you focus on revenge.

Are t-baggers aware of this? no.
but still, it works.

However funny that last joke might be, I still find in itself degradating, more so to the perpetrator than the perpetrated, proving the perpetrator in question's immatureness.
