How about the soldier? If he never runs out of ammo, then watching bits of zombie fly around as they run into your rockets would be amazing. Also, if you get into trouble, you can always rocket jump up to a safe place.

engineer, one of the biggest problems would be getting supplies easy and safe, for that i have teleporters, running out of ammo or getting hurted, dispenser, safety while sleeping, sentry.

heck i could just sleep all day and once in awhile take a teleporter to the mall and stock up on food and if i was bored i could just shoot a couple hundreds zombies.

edit; to all of those who haven't chosen engineer, imagine this, you would get no rest what so ever,and even if you did you would tire down for having to carry and use your weapon at all times, also healing, sure scout could out run most of them but if he ever took just 2 hits he would die, and if we are allowed to rp beyond the rules of the game, engineer could make entire citys safe and rebuild civilization, and you would never have the moral dilemma of killing a loved one who got the virus, the sentry's could take care of that as soon as they turned "evil".

A Fire Axe would be a terrible thing to use against Zombies.
It worked like a charm in Dead Rising, why not here?

On topic, I would choose either the Pyro (fire kills zombies: FACT) or the Heavy (infinate ammo on a minigun would make short work of even a large horde of zombies).

And God help anyone who beats my body count...

I would have to go with the soldier being rocket launcher and infinite ammo just mix together then again the heavy would also be a good choice

I'd be a sniper, because the best defense against zombies is distance and/or limited accessibility (read: fortified walls, a high place, etc.) in these situations I feel the sniper would be a great choice for both thinning their numbers and mopping up what's left with his machine gun and machete if they ever do get to the encampment. Also, any good sniper always has an escape route, which is important if your base is overrun.

assuming these arnt super zombies that can climb id be a sniper and id camp on a tower and kill them all and since i have a sniper i can look great distances to find out whats happening around town

Just be the engineer, and build a fortress with wind power, ten-foot high concrete walls topped with turrets, a robo-powered vegetable farm. And while all this is happening, build a jacuzzi and a beer-making machine.

Scout. Outrun them. Bonk them. Climb on top of a pile of defeated zombies and enjoy a can of Bonk for extra coolness.


Actually Engie seems a bit Last Standish option(along with heavy and soldier - slow, limited ammo), because he would run out of metal pretty fast(I don't think zombies drop weapons) and he would only live as long as he has any dispencer nearby to provide metal, that means he will stand in one point and get any zombie in the vicinity on his head.

HEY, what zombies we are speaking of? L4D/28 days later Infected, or Romerian Living Dead?
