Something that applies to us all, which mobile item do we get bothered on?

Now, I'm WELL aware that "versus" threads are frowned on because of the lack of debate, but in this case I believe the debate is rampant from the start.

In the Red Corner, stands the vibrant iPhone. Game-ready, touch-ready and trendy; but expensive and made of cracked glass.

In the Blue Corner, stands the pensive Blackberry. Rough, tough, and tuned in. Although has problems with English and looks functional at best.

And in the Mauve corner, those without phones, who get a lot more peace, but fall out of touch with the rest of the world.

Where do your loyalties lie, have they changed, and what actually is the best phone?

I hate cell phones with a burning passion, but I'd probably get an iPhone because it's the only one I've actually touched and kind of liked the other things it does.

Actually, I'd probably get the iPod touch and try and rig up and app on it that will let me do Voice-Over-IP so I don't have to actually sign up for a cell phone service.

I just have a phone and I'm happy with that.

If anything, I'd like one that just has internet on it for late night [s/]hentai[/s] Escapist viewing.

Just a phone is good enough for me. That's is it's original purpose and I plan to keep it like that.

Honestly? Neither. Everyone and their dog has an iPhone, and Blackberrys make their owners look like idiots who can't get away from the office (imo). I'll stick to my Sony Flip phone to be honest. I've got a PSP if I want music, games or photos on the move.

With a name like that, it can only be legendary.

I'd probably go for the iPhone, even though my housemates are raving about how great the Blackberry is. Personally though, I'm happy with the cheap, old Sony Ericsson I've still got :)

Iphone, I have an ipod touch but if you are out you don't have internet unless you jump in a mcdonalds or something so an Iphone would be nicer.

I'm happy with my battered 4 year old Samsung E9-whatever-it-is. It can make and receive calls, and send and receive texts. I'm happy. Don't need to be able to play games or whatever on it.
Plus the camera's pretty good on it...

Anyway, I'm neutral in the iPhone/Blackberry war.

Iphone isn't a phone. its a gadget with a phone app.

One of my friends has a blackberry curve and the other has an Iphone, so i get this debate a lot.
I think the Iphone is a lot better, they're more fun and the controls are so simple.

For those bigging up the iPhone, is it actually as flimsy as I've heard? Can you drop it on the floor and still get it to work?

Neither, I don't have nice things because I break them all the time. I prefer having cheap things so when I'm jumping around or skate/snowboarding I don't have to worry about them snapping.

I haven't had much exposure to either of those phones, so I can't really say. My opinion would have a bit of anti apple bias in it anyway, had a few iPods before that broke for no reason.
