I'm typically pretty blunt--especially if I have no emotional investment in the topic/situation at hand.

If I'm dealing with someone I care about, I'll be a little less brusque with my tone, tho

I am brutally honest. I don't care what other people think or what they want to hear.

What is the truth? Does it really exist, objectively?

I generally don't soften the blow when it comes to serious stuff concerning the few people I care about. But I'm going to lie plenty if it's going to benefit me or will not affect me negatively, just for lulz.

Having years of experience working part-time as a generic supermarket clerk one or two evenings after school teaches you to come up with many bullshit lies and excuses. Bwahaha.

Of course, it's very possible that I'm an asshole because I love cynicism and telling the darker truth.

That "Usually" option was the closest to what I do. I make jokes about it. I'm sarcastic, I'll call them out, I'll analyze them, and I'll joke about a lot of personal stuff. I do know the lines however, the differing lines for different people, and I wont cross it.

Mostly in person I try my best to come out and just tell the person. However...on places like here where I have to bite my tongue...not so much. Unless I get flamed, then I politely ask them to take it to PMs with me.

On the internet I'm largely reserved and will generally avoid being an ass at all costs... Odd, seeing as how I'm a complete bastard when it comes to being honest IRL, especially when it comes to morons that got themselves in shit due to their own stupidity, while everyone is comforting said moron I walk by and make a comment on how they're all idiots for making them believe that whatever it was that they did wasn't their fault, and that the upset person should be absolutely ashamed and how the human race would be better off without their defective genetics contaminating the gene pool.

Cue everyone calling me an ass, and me declaring them all idiots for not letting the moron feel bad, and thus, learn from their mistake.

Then, cue that one girl that apparently considers me her friend running up to me and telling me that I shouldn't be so mean, lest the moron kills themself out of grief, I say that society would be better off without someone that can't even handle something as pitiful as being arrested for drunk driving/indecent exposure. She demands to know why I think that I have the right to make such claims, I bring up the whole me not wangsting over having been abused as a child thing again, which is ten times worse then being pulled over for drunk driving, by the way, she gets quiet and walks away. I then skulk over to the art room and participate in the one class that I actually enjoy, and complain to myself over how modern society is made up of a bunch of pansies and lemon heads.

I love modern society, I really do.

Depends on the person. If they're overly sensitive then I'll usually keep it to myself or try to say it nicely. Then they can't say I didn't try. But I won't outright lie to them.
