Hello fellow Escapists,

I felt like making a thread, I'm relatively new to this website but I know for certain this community is probably the best I?ve witnessed in quite a while. Hence I felt like I was somewhat welcome to start my own thread with something that has always interested me. This interest being the wide spread of people who enjoy video games and web comics (such as myself) from all around the world. I?m generally interested in the demography of websites so I?ve made this thread to get to know roughly the people who generally frequent this forum.

OT: Anyway, my name is David; I?m 20 years of age I?m Irish and currently studying Biotechnology in National University of Ireland Galway, (NUIG). I?m in my 2nd year also.

So fellow Escapists, what do you do out in the big scary outdoors?! =O

I?ve added a poll which I kind of rushed so I?m sorry if I left out where you live in general. =(

Also feel free to post anything that you do which you feel reflects the culture which you experience.

Example: For me, I sometimes (but especially after exams) go for pints of Guinness with my mates after college. Remember that this 23th of September will be Arthurs day so help yourself to a pint! (if you're legal that is =P)

This could be fun.

I'm Sean. I'm a 23 year old graphic/web designer who just recently graduated. I do a lot of freelance work while looking for a legit job. Being a designer, I have a fondness for typography and have become a typophile. It's not healthy.

Currently live in the United States, but am interested in moving to somewhere in Europe.

I'm Nic, I'm the self-proclaimed unofficial Resident Juggler of The Escapist :)

I live in England, and am about to go to Manchester to do a 4-year course in Japanese studies.

I'm nuts about juggling, (hence 'Resident Juggler'), and will find any opportunity I can to do a little bit of juggling in my life... I'm not as good as true experts, but I like to think I'm decent enough in certain disciplines :)

I'm the Pariah from England.

22, currently working in a distribution center because I made some dodgy choices at age 17, so no higher education or fun courses for me I'm afraid.

I love a drink, I love a smoke. I'm something of a cynic and I have no problem saying my opinions even if they go against the grain. I hate people who are up their own arse and can only see from one angle and again I have no problem calling people out on that.

My goal in life is to leave this country behind and drive Semis from Canada all across North America after doing the same in Europe first. Why pay to see the world when you can get paid for doing it?

Hey, I'm Wyatt. I'm 15. I live in New York state. I tend to to rave over things I find cute, and I also watch tons of anime, listen to tons of J-pop, play quite a few video games, and read the occasional manga. I also love starfish.

Hi, I am Sanja and I live in Macedonia.
I am 25, currently battling time to finish my Masters in violin performance this month.
I play different composers, and every next piece of music is a new revelation for me. Right now, I am "discovering" Prokofiev by playing his first violin concerto and words can not describe the beauty.

And since you are relatively new, welcome.

Hello, I'm *censored*. I'm 18 years old, studying Documentary in North Vancouver. I play various video games, I enjoy reading and writing my own stories. I play with lego, I bike around, I hike. I love swimming, I enjoy posting on this webzone and I really enjoy a certain Nintendo Franchise.

I'm not overly surprised that the poll is tilted to the US at the moment...

Since you asked...

I'm Sophie, I'm 23. I do stuff. Mainly I write, but I am a pretty big PC gamer as well (got a 360, it doesn't see much use except for racing games) I've never been to university, even though I think I'd like to go.

I have a question for you though:

Why do you continue to use the inferior Mateba Autorevolver, when the Seburo M5 has a host of advantages over your antiquated choice?
