I think everyone should at least try the Spy. Just to give it a shot.

The spy. I enjoy stabbing people in Splinter Cell, I loved it in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, but doing it while they think you're their teammate is too fun.

Depends on:

1. What map is it?
2. Are you winning/losing/attacking/defending
3. How many of each class are already in use.

Its no point going spy when defending when you already have 5. Or Sniper when you have 6 sat in your spawn room "attacking". Likewise every team should have at least 1 Medic, Engi and Pyro.

But I can't see any reason as to why I'd ever join a server with 2fort on it... that map is just so god damned redundant :/

I play heavy a lot. Quite a few of the Fugworld Mixed Bag maps are close quarters, and I just soak up as much punishment as I dish out.

But never play Heavy on an open map like Well. You will get butt hurt a lot.

Spy. A while back when I played it on my friends XBOX I managed to master the ability to get past everyone to the package disguised as an engineer. It was beautiful. Now I guess the game has advanced enough that I'll not be able to do that.

You'd be surprised! ^^ A skilled spy, even these days with all the updates, can move with the enemy and easily infiltrate (if they don't show any hesitation in movement around enemies) ... It's just the getting out is the trouble, 2fort especially. XP

That was the map that I usually did it on. I managed to get the suitcase back to my base rather easily. I would have thought that the players would have gotten used to the techniques and the tell tale signs of one.

Medic is always fun, since you can feel useful just by holding down the left mouse button for long periods of time. Although I somehow seem to get more kills as the medic than I do as anything else.

Occasionally Spy. Because backstabbing a heavy is fun!

I usually stick with the medic, because, no matter the team, your going to want one. Especially if everyone else is running around as Soldiers and Heavies.

It is a ***** when everyone realizes your there, though. Yeah, I get you all need help, but I'm across the map. Stop spamming the medic call. I'll get to you ASAP.

Can't live without my Pyro.

Fast run speed, above average health, close quarters. I like it!

I go depending on the circumstances, but I always start as Demoman to get a feel of the situation. The fact that he's versitile helps adapt to situations, so I get in a good first life with a few kills and help, then depending on what I see, I switch to the class i need most.
Demo, Scout, Soldier and Spy are great for recon, but I prefer Demo because 1: He's Scotish, and I'm half Scotish, 2: He shares my love of explosions, 3: He has a big ass sword (even if i didn't unlock it yet.) and 4: I really love explosion.

Spy, I LOVE to play Spy. I like stealth games though, so that's probably the reason.

Still, I usually end up playing Medic or Engineer, because no one likes to play those classes (usually) and I'm pretty good with both of them.

I only just started playing, so to get used to the maps first I follow other players, so if I am following them I might aswell help them.

I will always try to go Engineer if there is only one. However with the update I hardly get to play as Engineer so I normally go Medic.

I'm that allied pyro. The one who is behind you right now. The one who was a demoman a couple of seconds ago. The one with a death sniper next to him.

Scout is my main class, I love the feeling when things just go right and I become an unstoppable ball of death. No other class really has the potential for hunting down your enemies.
They can't hide.
So yeah, I play an extremely aggressive scout. Or snapshot sniper, so much rage.

Of course, those are on my good days. When I suck I just play soldier or medic and spam rockets/hide behind teammates.
