Thanksgiving. I had a wonderful time with family laughing, conversing and eating ourselves silly with Pork Roast. This time of year we take the time to appreciate the things in life we wouldn't normally reflect on.
Give thanks for everything you have, because upon contemplation, one can realize that for every thing you can think of, you can imagine there has been or is someone worse of in that respect.

One thing I am certainly thankful is a comforting community (in real life, and online) which I can express myself and reside in in comfort.
Your thoughts on Thanksgiving? Things you're thankful for?

I am thankful for my family. I'm 18 now, and pretty proud of the person I've grown up to be-- and it's all thanks to them.

My country doesn't have thanksgiving.
I guess I'm thankful for that.

okay that just makes me sound like a prick.

I'm thankful for the ability to mute other players on Xbox live.

I'm out in the countryside visiting my mum for Thanksgiving. There's always so much great food; I love it. When it comes to things I'm grateful for, they are insurmountable. I'm grateful for the people in my life, my senses, my health, music, the many wonderful things I have to look forward to, and the feeling of satisfaction. I am truly blessed. Of course, I think about these things all the time, and this holiday is really just some time off and tasty food.

we don't have Thanks Giving here, the whole premise of it sounds really cheesy and fake though. we do have a harvest festival (which according to Wikipedia thanksgiving is a type of) on which ours school children generally go about giving food to old people and the poverty stricken.

I picked other because Friends aren't one of the choices, that's what I'm thankful for.

That and the ability to go home for the thanksgiving weekend, been in Yankeeland far too long :)

What am I thankful for?

Life, moving around, being able to talk, to think, a mother and father that love me, having enough to eat, (well, more than that, according to my waistline), having work and money, being online, America's Thanksgiving which is coming in a month and change...

... and some more stuff I'll post about this coming Sunday. You'll see why then.

I love thanksgiving. Its my favorite holiday. None of that commercialism crap of Christmas, the entire focus is on spending time with people you like and eating piles of delicious food. Plus you get to see friends that go to different universities. Good times had by all.

I'm thankful mainly for the people around me. My parents, my (good) teachers, and my friends.

Toilet Paper. Somebody said that to me one thanksgiving and it has stuck with me ever since. When I think about it I really don't know what might become of me if i didn't have it.

I love my family...
When I say that, I don't mean love-like-chocolate.
I mean, they created and defined my very being, and brought me nearly all the joy I have ever experienced. Its a small one, but without them, I would be nothing....
