the final boss in shadow of rome, unbreakable extra fast BFS then when you get him down to his last few health bars he goes into some sort of red shift and moves even faster, he has something like 12 health bars all longer than yours you can get the first 6 or so with the heavy weapons that they provide but after that it gets really really hard.

I still have that game and yes, that boss is a tough fother mucker. Claudia's brother isn't exactly easy either.

Quite a few actually: Raja Naga in DDS2, I know how to beat him but I just don't feel like learning the skills to do so.

Bowser and the Shadow Queen from the Paper Mario series, they constantly kick my ass and in the shadow queen's case it was always after the long ass cut scene.

Persona 4's bosses could be brutal if you just charge in. The best example is Shadow Yukiko, who can be brutal especially on your first run. Then I went in on New game + and kicked her ass with Tam Lin.

The Golem sisters from Chrono Trigger, I probaly just need to level up but again I'm just too lazy to do so.

Very disappointing for me. Giant Crab/lobster/acid squid sinspawn from FFX... I never beat it, Ever. After so many attempts, multiple playthroughs, Even had the strategy guide. Nope

The little dragon you encounter when chasing werewolves in Dragon Age. The first ten or so times I fought that I failed horribly. Then I ran off, bought a stack of fire protection salves and health poultices and beat it to death with Alistair.

Once I'd got the hang of dragons, the rest were easy.

Dragons are a *****, I'll give you that.

I'll say the first demon wall in the Tomb of Raithwall (FFXII) and the demon wall in the Temple of the Ancients (FFVII).

completely agree on the demon wall, going in there and having to go against that shit i was SO underprepared...i literally beat the big ****** wall with 12 health left with vaan, and it took me about 25 times if that, after that i grinded the living fuck out of those bats, went up 5 levels

on ffvii i grinded the piss out of some island that had good shit so i was smooth sailing the rest of that game =]

I did beat him...once I restarted the game and went in with the cheapest tactic in the game which instantly healed you while fighting him.

Auto Potion + X-Potion.
Damn save points with no warnings.
