Poll: The Bread Thread

I'm fine as long as I don't get the end pieces. I refuse to eat those, for some bizarre reason.

If I'm the first to grab from a new loaf, I grab the 3rd and 4th piece. I prefer the dead centre of a loaf of bread though.

I just went to make a sandwich. As I reached into the bag, I passed six perfectly good slices of bread and tugged the two out of the middle. Without even thinking I just did that. Now thinking about it, I wonder why I do that.

The ones in the middle are fresher.

Also, my favorite sammich is a cheesesteak sub with fried onions.

I am not picky when it comes to bread...well, I don't particularly care for that bread that has the nuts in it.

I grab mine from the middle as well. Never really noticed it until now. xD I refuse to eat the end pieces unless that's all that's left, then I make half fold sandwiches out of them.

My favourite sandwich is Turkey and Bacon sammich. <3

Toasted rye BLT. I don't care what slice it is, as long as the ends aren't thin.

I tend to take my bread from the middle.

My favorite sandwiches are: Ham and Pickle, Chicken and Onions, Salt and Vinnegar Crisps. Oh, and a bacon butty, or a chip butty or a sausage sarnie...I could go on

I always pass the first few slices, they tend to mold first.

I quite enjoy a Ham and Lettuce sandwich now and again. Just Ham and Lettuce, a simple meal.

Just realized, the poll asks which part of The Load I prefer to eat. I don't like the poll anymore.
Even better, one of the choices is Either End. I really don't like the poll anymore.

I actually just made some delicious banana bread last night. That's probably my favorite kind. I like nearly every single kind of bread ever. Especially those cheddar bay biscuits from Red Lobster.

The crust ends are great for a panini. And I do love toasted sandwiches.

I like the end pieces just as much as the middle ones, so I take whatever's there. The only thing that bugs me is some of the bread we get makes the end pieces so thin that they're un-usable for sandwiches, just a waste of bread.

Also I enjoy just about any kind of sandwich as long as it isn't tuna salad, or bologna.

I make my own bread.

I normally use a non-end-piece for sandwiches and toast. But nothing beats the end-piece when it's fresh out of the oven(or machine) smeared with honey and butter... I think I need a moment.
