It's not too bad. I'll admit it has that "overstayed it's welcome" feel to it at times.

Begun they have.
Edit: Am I the only Star Wars fan who enjoyed the CG movie? Yeah it was kiddied down. But the live action Post Force Unleashed Pre Yavin tv show will be for adults. Its star wars for kids. its still Star Wars though. And thus is good.

Star Wars exists to me, now, in the realms of some of the books, my imagination, my Action figures and my minatures, and my D20 rulebook (which, incidently, I am thinking of ways to modify for 4 edition D&D. It would work soooo much better). And, of course, my DVD box set. I want them to make a serious film and/or series again, one not aimed at my little brother and below.

As of the Clone wars, pretty good, though my main gripe is that the droids have full personalities, sentience, and act like saturday morning cartoon henchmen. which is what I guess they are, but they are supposed to be mindless drones who kill people. they made this mistake way back in episode 1, trying to make it amusing for children. And it is funny, when you are like, 8, but it takes away any real sense of threat. Instead of faceless death machines, inspiring terror into those that face them (witch is why they look like a Nemodians skeleton) they are fools to be outwitted and outmanoeuvered, annoying in there stupidity. Even that last thread of respect we had for supers died in Episode 3, when artoo sets them alight, and they slip in a comical fashion. Gorram, that annoys me so much. How can we take it seriously that these things are a threat to galactic peace. I mean c'mon. Also, how does Anakin get a padawan, when he is one. Namely one that is barely over the age requirements, to take with him on missions key to the war effort, where she will see men die in horrible, varied ways. Beacuse that won't be damaging. And some things made me run for the nearest toilet, so i could throw up into them, like JarJar becoming a Jedi. Nonononononnononnonono, please no! Arrrrghhh!

Other than that, a harmless cartoony romp. And the animation does work, in Starwars' slightly exagerrated style. Yet I think i shall return to the Yuuzahn Vong. Ahh, no there's a sense of threat I can believe...
Try Star Wars Saga. Unless that's the game you mean.

i love listening to everyone ***** and whine about Lucas, when they don't actually get or understand Star Wars or what HE had envisioned for HIS creation.

the thing is no one ever listened to what Lucas had actually said and wrongfully thought "oh it's going to be this" or "it's going to be that" so when the movie/tv show came out everyone complained about how crappy it is and how it "wasn't Star Wars" yet if they paid any attention to what was said by the person who created it they wouldn't be complaining

as for the new series i think it's great and really captures a lot of what Lucas had actually envisioned for Star Wars by giving it the feel of the old serials from the 40s and 50s

I think the cartoon is somewhat entertaining. I, however, don't like that they try to force us to love the clone troopers. They're lame.

And I don't like the fact that the Jedi need an army(an army that they knew was a trap but used anyway) and are called generals. From the original series I would have NEVER pictured the Jedi as glorified Space Marines with light sabers. I mean they're pretty much just special ops army units.

Ok yeah, I'm hoping Ahsoka will get her arm cut off or tortured too. Oh uh you guys do know that Anakin is a jedi knight now right? So he can have a padawan. Does anyone actually know how long the clone wars lasted anyway? For all we know it lasted for 10-15 years.

Just another way to squeeze out that last dregs of filthy water of the wet flanel that is Star Wars.

I really liked it. Once you learned to ignore Ashoka it was fun as far as entertainment goes. Nice to see some other angles on Star Wars, some other people and places. The movie was godawful though.

it has it's moments.. though I admit the visuals are better than I expected at first, and I REALLY like that they did not dumb it down to childish levels like they did with the old droid/ewok" cartoons, and upped it from the 2d clone wars series..

Im still looking forward with crossed fingers to the live action series
