Why wasn't the Wii included? Sales wise especially, the only thing beating it is it's love child, the DS, so it seems like you'd need a concious effort to ignore the thing.

Why is this subject still being brought up? It always ends up in people getting silly and pointless arguments and flaming happens alot.

Pretty sure the PC isn't a console.
Obviously from a financial stand point the Wii has won this one.

I like my ps3 though. Really for the most part it's because many of my friends/relatives have one and they are the people i want to play games with. Beyond that I can't say it's that much better/different than an Xbox360.

Though LA Noire was only one one disc for it.

I voted PS3.
I've always been a console gamer and always on the various incarnations of the playstation. I don't necessarily think there's a big difference between the current gen consoles, but I like the fact that I can use it for watching Blu-Ray films as well, and I've always been fonder of the PS controller.
Still bothers me that Mass Effect isn't out for the PS3 though.

Xbox 360 has better support. They make you pay for a reason besides it's only $60 a year. PS3 doesn't have as good exclusives although God of War is pretty damn awesome but in my opinion it doesn't stack up against the Halo series. Killzone is okay but again I'd rather have Halo.

The only major downside to PC I see is having to upgrade software HOWEVER problems that occur on PC seem to be easier to fix and you can multi task on PC.

I'm not ignorant I've played both consoles (when I lived in England I played PS3) (Now I live in Canada I play Xbox) I can say that I certainly prefer Xbox.

I like PC since it's all in one place but when I play PC I just feel 'odd' and uncomfortable that and I'm pretty shit at PC gaming :S.

All my friends play Xbox too so yeah I play Xbox because I like it over the other platforms. :)

Oh console wars? I normally judge consoles by the games they have so I don't have a strong alliance this year with all the multiplatform titl... excuse me OP is that English? I'm not a grammar expert, but damn that is terrible. Here's a list of things to Google while you learn English: punctuation, capitalization, homophones and spell check. At least learn the basics of each.

(Now I shall wait for someone to criticize my grammar.)

All in all, I just don't like the 360. I don't like any of the exclusives for it, because, in my honest opinion, Halo and Gears of War are terrible games. I'm sure many of you disagree, but it's just my opinion. I enjoy my PS3 and Wii, just as I enjoy my DS, PSP, and PC. In my opinion, I have the best of both worlds.

TL;DR

I don't like 360, PS3 is better for my tastes.

OT: Nintendo had 'motion controls' waaaay back, for Duck Hunt. If you're counting that.

Ciao.

This poll is more proof of the raging Nintendo hate that a multitude of the people on this forum seem to hold. No Wii choice?

Ugh. I like all three systems AND my PC. I just wish people would stop harping on about one system or another. Nintendo is doing fine and isn't going away. PS3 has some great games and will have more good games in the future. XBox 360...Well, they say if you don't have anything nice to say about something, dont' say anything at all, so I'll leave it with, there are a FEW games on it I like.

And I couldn't live without my laptop or a good desktop.

I prefer my PC but I did enjoy gaming on my 360 before I gave it to my son.

They all have different benefits.

I find it sad that the Wii isn't even an option on this poll. I've purchased the most games for PC this generation making it the clear winner for me.

I've enjoyed the most current generation games on the PS3 if base best console on that.

But the Wii is this generations clear winner from a profitability and units sold standpoint.

What no Wii, Ds or Psp in this poll? (yes I find that handhelds are consoles to (Console an electronic device for playing video games))

Anyway I?m going to go with the pc first then the Nintendo-ds and after that the Wii.
Tough I do like the xboxs360 controller (use it for my pc with certain games) and I?m interested in a lot of the ps3 titles.. Too bad I don't have the money for all of them

I got a PC, PS3, PSP, Ninetendo DS and a Wii.

Love em all.

Don't have much love for the Xbox though, the controller is just wrong for me.
Can't use it.

I'm traditionally an Xbox 360 gamer, but I've recently been leaning more and more towards PC recently. There aren't any good commerce and political simulators on the consoles.

PC and Wii, means I can buy the broadest range of interesting games. Am tempted to get a PS3 for their exclusives though.

Yes, 'Console' war. Don't class PC with the consoles :p

All jokes aside, I just prefer PC for shooters. The control is so much better and honestly the online play on consoles involves a lot of kids or very young teens that really aren't that good. Its not the speed of the aim or anything, they just don't play as well. I played BlOps, BF:BC2 and MoH on my PS3 and BlOps on 360 and I was constantly at the top player for the match. On PC I'm normally top half, rarely first.

Secondly, I like being at my PC. I can do everythign from it.

Thirdly, PC games are cheaper in stores usually $20 or so and now with Steam that goes down to $50 cheaper than buying a console game.

The graphics are usually slightly better and the game runs smoother (Crysis 2, Brink).

Internet connection is better because of the ethernet cable.

CD keys can be annoying and games not running or some error or what ever can be a pain but my PC can be upgraded every few years (a few hundred dollars if I shop around) and still run games (low settings most of the time if a few years pass).

I used to be a console kid but I played Half Life 2 on my PC and was addicted.

I did pre-order Arkam City for my 360 though.

Seriously, though, why is the Wii not on your list? Since you don't have that, you've forced me to vote PC. But stick Wii up there. Damn, man.

The thing is with the PC (and I hate to contribute to the Console War) is that it really is only the strongest platform for a few years at a time. When the new generations of Consoles come out every few years, the PC is generally plays catch up for a year or two. People tend to forget this when claiming the PC as the master platform.

Honestly, I never got it either. Each one certainly has it's pros and cons, but when you think about it, the PS3 and the Xbox are essentially the same thing.

Right down to the controller

I'd have to go with PC.
though it is technically not a console.
but the PC is Generally the best one,and if your rich enough to always get the newest of the new stuff,it will always be better then the (other) consoles.
PC is also the platform i spent most of my gaming time.
as for 360,PS3 and wii.
they are equaly good,Because they are better in certain aspects then the others do.
PS3:Better Overall Render & Storage Capabilities because of the use of blu-ray.
Xbox360:Best Online Platform
Wii:Best Exclusives as well as the best use of ...motion controls

For some reason handing your cash over isn't enough. Apparently have to sign some oath of fealty to a company that doesn't know and/or care that you exist and defend them while badmouthing the competitors.
