I've never heard of Toph or Rainbow Dash, so I assume they must be some sort of anime cartoon. Annnd, since I'd rather pour bleach in my eyes than watch 90% of existing anime. . .
Freakazoid, I've heard of, ( and what I've heard is that it was awesome) but again, I haven't actually seen it.
Felix the Cat and Samarai Jack are good choices for inclusion on the list, but I didn't vote for them.
Darkwing Duck was good, but not good enough.
So, I voted for the original rabbit of Awesome- Bugs Bunny.
On a side note, the list has three spots open if you discard whatever Toph and Rainbow Dash were, as well as Darkwing Duck. The cartoons deserving of those spots would be Pinky and the Brain ( Realizing that they are two characters, but they are virtually never apart so I think it's fair to consider them as one) , The Tick, and Tex Avery.
Other considerations should have gone to Ren & Stimpy, The Warner Bros and Dot, Batman the Animated Series, and a whole slew of newer cartoon characters including most of Family Guy, The Simpsons, Venture Bros, Harvey Birdman, Space Ghost, Aqua Teen, and as I've been told, but not seen- Archer.
In short, fan of cartons that I am, I find the idea that two cartoons are included on the list that I've never even heard of, is telling of an uninspired list.
The saving grace is Bugs Bunny, who should be on everyones list of awesome fictional characters, let alone just cartoons.
P.S. I know that I've left some great cartoons out of my shoutouts, but the point was to establish a core group of classic and new, that outdistance the list, rather than specifically mention every great cartoon character.
