Poll: The Expendable A-Team

I recently bought a few DVD's, but two of them stand out as looking very similar. "The Expendables" and "The A-Team". Which one did you like better, and why?

A friend of mine whose opinion I trust said that despite being a remake, "The A-Team" is the better movie, since it doesn't try as hard as "The Expendables" does, being fully aware of its idiocy all the way, whereas "The Expendables" tries too hard to be a serious movie.

Opinions? Thoughts?

At least the A-Team was kind of funny. The Expendables just plain sucked.

Sounds like a choice between crap (Expendables) and crap with a cherry on top (A-Team). Do you normally buy movies without knowing much about them? Because if you need a place to thow money away, I'm always accepting donations

Sometimes, if the price is right and the movie seems interesting, I will buy them without knowing much about them.

I'm going to have to go with The Expendables. The A-Team just didn't do it for me, purely because ole Rampage made a crap BA No matter how comical the film was supposed to be you just can't replace Howling Mad or BA.

Although Face and Hannibal were put across quite well.

Despite the lack of a Mr. T approval, i got some enjoyment out of the A-Team...

I actually loved The A-Team.
The Expendables...well, I wanted to claw my eyes out with a fork whilst watching.


But A-Team seems widely accepted as the better film.

Then again, if you collect films - get both!

If anything, watch the A Team if it's only because you want to see Mr T and you can't resist the theme tune
