I think my Gold Squadron of X-Wings will have something to say about this (Equipped with Mag Pulse Torpedos of course)

Please. The Gunboat is more agile, has double the shield strength and warhead load, a slightly stronger hull, and can mount beam weapons. Not to mention the fact that it is flown by only the Empire's finest, most experienced fighter pilots.

The best thing you can say about the Xwing in that match-up is that its a bit faster and is a slightly smaller target.

Obviously you have not played X-Wing or else you would have known that the Mag Pulse Torpedos temporerily knock out weapons system and beam systems. Know your enemy before you fight them. Also, I believe the X-Wing is more agile, having played the game for the last 5 years.

Jedi Academy was so silly.

After playing Jedi Outcast, which was so epically epic, I played Jedi Academy, and I remember thinking, "is this a joke?"

I mean, Outcast had a plot right up there with Baldur's Gate, and NWN, and then Academy comes along, with its oh-so-scary, ghosty sith, and silly little side missions where you run around slitting up sand people while looking for droids. I was stunned. The gameplay is about the same in the two games, the graphics are similar as well, and while I like being able to use my double bladed lightsaber, the standards of story-telling for the series went way down with Academy, and I'm glad it is not truly recognized as a sequel in the Jedi Knight line of games. It was fun though. Just silly.

Well I had have to say an old unheard of Playstation Title, JEDI POWER BATTLES.
If you like Ninja Gaiden 2 then you like J.P.B because it ripped off the combat game mechanics excactly (the button combos where exactly the same, blocking, same combo leveling system).
But J.P.B was so much better because it was two players co-op and you got to pick from like every jedi that was in episode one.
