So, Do you think that yourself, or generally, people are loosing their humanity ?

(ex: being thoughtful, benevolent, no personal interest all the time things like that...)

For some, it promotes respect for nature, respect for others, tolerance, kindness and generosity.

For others, it is understood that kindness is synonymous with stupidity, and generosity is a proof of innocence. As for respect for nature and people, they should be considered only in rare cases where it does not conflict with profit maximization.

What humanity? The world as a whole doesn't have much of it.

There are individual people out there who restore faith in the fact there might be some humanity left in the world.

Chuck Norris is a wuss, I might save you, or Commi might be willing to if you accept Communism, but no freedom loving American could do that.

Hah, it's good that this is my first post with my changed avatar, which depicts a character who has barely any humanity left herself in my short stories :D

Anyway, the focus of my writing is usually about characters who've lost their humanity in some way (people still accuse me of making 'unlikeable' characters - since one is a killer, two are completely insane and one is an incestuous killer, if you like them then there's something wrong with you...). And my work is often based on ideas of how I view humanity.

Suffice to say that I don't think humanity has ever been 'human', as it were. Humans in general are evil creatures and have no sense of respect, everyone in the world has some level of darkness inherent in them. Everybody is evil to some extent. It's just a matter of how we choose to act on this. So no, I don't think people are losing their humanity. I reckon it was never there to begin with, for anyone.

How would you define "humanity"?

Because if its not killing people and hurting others because of differences, we lost that a LONG time ago.

A person has humanity, people don't.

People are barbarous, cruel and stupid, and act on pack instinct. They never had any humanity in the first place, since the dawn of time there has been massacres and mass rapes and other terrible things.
A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it. Fifteen hundred years ago everybody knew the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody knew the Earth was flat.

OT: Yes, every day humans as a whole get greedier, more stupid and closer to oblivion. But that shouldn't stop you from enjoying Modern Warfare 2.

I like how you introduced your interest of ModernWarfare 2 on this topic...

"Humanity"-

1. all human beings collectively; the human race; humankind.
2. the quality or condition of being human; human nature.
3. the quality of being humane; kindness; benevolence.

Thats the funniest shit i've ever read. Honestly. What dumb-ass thought humans were humane. for the lulz.

An individual is strong. The masses are weak.

An individual leads. The masses follow.

An individual can change the world. The masses just destroy it.

Individualist Anarchism.

Because you can't have a future without an individual.

O.T: Its kinda hard to define Humanity as a whole since theres so many aspects to it, Emotions, Nature, Quality of life, Actions and Reactions.
