It's a bit tricky with my marriage. We go for a cooperative way, but the one rule we have is that if a decision needs to be made and we can't agree on it, I make the call. That would make me the decisive party. However, I'm really rather laid back and I usually agree to what my wife wants, which would make me submissive.
