Looking through the Escapist forums I noticed a job board...

Is this inclusion going too far?? Will It work out?? What will become of us!!??

I believe turning our beloved Escapist into a job site is a step in the wrong direction, and I thought the Religion/Politics board was a bad idea...

It's really one of those things that SOUNDS like a nice idea, but will probably be forgotten about in a matter of days.

Honestly, I didn't even know this thing existed until right now.

...jobs? Honestly this sounds like more of a FaceBook redesign thing... people get upset to it but we just get used to it after a while. Also, if you don't like it, don't go to it. That's why I stay away from the Religion and Politics section.

But what if something terrible happens? Like it becomes massively popular? Before you know it we become the next Facebook, what then?? Where will we the faithful go when we are driven from out home?

Eh, its a nice effort. I doubt most of the kids here know how to put a resume/portfolio together. But i can appreciate the reasons for it. Its one of those "why not" ideas.

My thoughts earlier on the matter earlier more went towards the "The Escapist is becoming a business, not a forum", however my thoughts are now along the lines of the above.

I agree, but until we begin to see queues of Dolelys amassing we have nothing to fear.

My main problem with the board that the Escapist Modder community is so small that setting up a project there would not be worth the effort.
