So I haven't played Skyward Sword yet (I'll be getting it for Christmas) and when I do that means I'll be booting up my Wii for the first time in a long time. I have to actually think about the last time I played my Nintendo Wii. My best estimate would be over a year and a half now because I think the last time I picked up a controller was for Super Mario Galaxy 2 and I don't know if it counts because it was on a friend's console and not my game. Before that I remember renting New Super Mario Bros. Wii and that was 2 years ago (November 15, 2009). The last game I bought was Super Smash Bros. Brawl 3 and a half years ago (March 9, 2008).

Let me go ahead and say I'm not trying to hate on the Wii here. There have been a small handful of titles worth playing since them (imo) that I haven't bothered with because I lost interest in the system as a whole, but now that I'm finally turning the system on again, I might get to it. I have considered Muramasa, Lost in Shadow, Xenoblade Chronicles when it comes out, and No More Heroes 1 and 2 since I haven't played either.

I played my virtual wii a few days ago. Monster Hunter in HD is awesome.

There's a good few weeks of gaming in a wii still. The intake valve has closed, but there's still water in the pool.

I was debating buying Muramasa the other day. I saw it for $9.

Would of been about 4 months ago for a Brawl tournament amongst friends :/.

I just can't find a game that has any forced YOU MUST USE MOTION CONTROLS to be fun to me though.

It's useful for Netflix at my parents' house. But I'm in college now, so all I needed was my good ol' Xbox.

I played it pretty recently, but I've had to put it off for a bit because of finals. I really want to replay the Paper Mario games again soon so I'll probably be playing it this weekend.

I had my Wii for over a year before I finally hooked it up for the first time, spent like 10 minutes playing Wii sports, then turned it off... I gave the system away about a year later.

Well, considering I had to lend it to my brother so he could play Skyward Sword, and I spent a good amount of time playing the game myself, I'd say 1 week ago. When he gave the Wii to me, and we played Smash Bros and Mario Kart. I still regularly use my Wii for retro games (the best system for retro gaming that doesn't involve piracy) and I also plan on getting Xenoblade and Rayman Origins.

A little over a week ago I was playing Kirby Epic Yarn.

I'm not getting Skyward Sword till Christmas so there's not much reason to play it atm. Besides, lately I've been rediscovering my PSP and original XBOX.

I replayed Super Mario Galaxy a few months ago. I then tried to replay Paper Mario but got sick of it, and the same happened with Super Mario Bros Wii.

The newest game I've played through would be Goldeneye, around the time of its release.

I'll probably get Skyward Sword and Donkey Kong Country Returns soon... and Resident Evil 4 is asking me to play it again.

You know, I completely forgot about using it for retro games. I did get Paper Mario and Super Metroid and those were worth hours of fun. I bet when I look at the Wii Shop again I'll see a lot of stuff I'll want. Skyward Sword is sounding more and more like a great last note to remember the Wii and possibly Nintendo by.

Four hours ago, I booted up Xenoblade Chronicles. It was still awesome. Everyone should get it, if only to see that yes, good JRPGs do exist (or, for hipsters, good JRPGs besides SMT: Persona 4.)

More than a year ago, for Muramasa.
I bought it because I had such a great time with all the interesting 3rd party titles on the Gamecube, but the Wii never really got anything equivalent (possibly because no one had the balls to just not use the motion controls for games that didn't need them or work well with them). I would have dusted it off for the new Kirby game and Donkey Kong Country returns, but I've been abroad and Nintendo's region locking makes it unnecessarily difficult to travel with their hardware (I probably wouldn't have relegated it to a corner of my closet in the first place if importing some of the stuff Japan got had been an option).

I have been playing Skyward Sword. Before that, I was playing Wind Waker a few months ago. Before that, it was Twilight Princess again. The Wii is pretty much my Zeldabox. I played Mario Galaxy 2 before Wind Waker, but before that it was Majora's mask (that was probably over a year ago). And I think I'm gonna go through Ocarina of Time again soon after Skyward Sword.

There was a time when I used my Wii more often, but even I have to admit the good games I want to play have been extremely rare lately.
