Only if things would taste like chicken.

Ohh, and I got to go see the oracle and bend spoons and shit.

Not at all.

As long as I got to punch the living bejesus out of Reeves wooden, blank face.
Then set him on fire and throw him into a wood chipper.

Wait...wouldn't things be the same?

Or do you mean "Live in the Matrix but be aware of it"?
Because that would certainly make things interesting...

If I was able to do the things that the people in the matrix could do, it would be awesome. It wouldn't be fun living in that ship and eating crap though.

IF the game was anything like the movie (love it the first time, bored to hell with it any time after) then I'm going with NO.

I think I may have worded this wrong. I only put "as they do in the movies" to add SOME kind of split in opinions due to the fact that the robots fed the dead to the living and periodically killed off the entire population(I think). But really, that would be balanced by the fact that the robots would possibly help us with stuff.

So ya, I'm going to assume everyone would allow morals to fall apart if it meant they could do whatever they want. Why did I make this thread again?

We do already! Hah! You've got no way to disprove it!

Yeah, pretty much that. Eh, why not, as a nihilist it doesn't really matter.

You could just integrate your personality (which you might not even have) into a practically eternal computer and exist as data only and just keep running the same program that gave you unlimited processing power and, well, generic omnipotence and stuff.

But then again, if you get that deep into science fiction, you yourself don't have much in terms of consciousness or free will. All you are is simply programmed over time and is based on some basic chemistry... and if you "transcend" your body to simply become data, none of that will be needed, so the illusion of individuality and, you know, just "being you" would simply fade and what's going to be left over - fuck I don't know, but I'd wager it'd be pretty passive because it would have no ambition that generally is founded within the instinct to survive and pass on your genes... So in a way, you'd become your own apathetic god, existing in your personal universe (brain in a jar an' stuff, if you know what I mean) and absolutely omnipotent, but without any drive to do anything because there'd be no point in doing so.

"Being human" involves having illusions about importance and meaning. Once you get passed that, there's nothing.

I wouldn't mind living in it so long as I was aware of it. I would have a lot of fun just messing around. I wouldn't do anything big like try and free people, just have fun screw with people's minds.

You do realized that even Zion was in the matrixtrust me, the trilogy makes a lot more sense if this were true so really it doesn't matter.

I guess it would matter if the choices were "live in the original matrix" or "live in the Zion matrix". Otherwise it wouldn't. But I would like it to rain chocolate more often than it does now.

I guess i'm alone with wanting the robots to make it rain chocolate. I'd totally go along with it if the world was fun. They get energy, I have fun, everyone wins. :)
