i thought plasma was the 4th state of matter
an ionized gas
kinda of like lightning

Magnetic Turbines, because as far as we know (MRIs and such), magnetic radiation isn't dangerous to humans. As far as we know...

EDIT:

i thought plasma was the 4th state of matter
Yeah, apparently he's talking about blood plasma. But we need that stuff in our hospitals, so no deal.

At first I read "Magnetic Turbines" as "Magnetic Turtles".
So, in other words, where are my magnetic turtles?!
OT: I have to say that Magnetic Turbines seem to be the least likely to kill me. So, that's my choice.

Hydrogen.
Cars are prone to explosions with a flame around, anyways, and when the exhaust will be water, why not?

Nucleur power is the current answer, just hope they find something better. The big issue is what to do with the waste. The two best answers I can think of is putting it into bullets and shells or putting it in rockets and shooting it into space (who gives a shit if we fuck up neptune?)

Why don't we use fat people?
Fat is stored energy that the body isn't using right? So if we extract the fat or get fat people to run on wheels the energy, we have anew source of energy and more people get attractive and take up less space
I can see how it would go wrong

Now thats just silly. We'd run out of fat people.

Have you ever tried to get fat people to run on a giant wheel? It's not easy.

I'm tellin' ya, hamsters are the way to go.

To you I point to the however many obese people there are in America and England

Well maybe not just run but remove the fat via surgery. Failing that, what do you think cattle prods were invented for?

For the forseeable future? I'm gonna say Steam Power, of the kind that we use now. We utilize fossil fuels to heat water into steam, to turn turbines with electromagnets on them, creating electric current. The only difference between Nuclear and petroleum is energy production per unit time, and a different type of waste. If we could actually utilize most of the wind energy we're attempting, then we'd be well off, but since we produce barely more energy than we use in operating the damn things, I'd say that's a bust, and that's not even mentioning the logistical problem of getting the energy produced to the public. Solar is a bit more promising, but since it requires vast fields of open, sunbaked area to become beneficial, there's not many places that are open to putting up hundreds of solar panels. So, until we realize a new method of producing electricity, it's gonna be nuclear, since it will yeild the most power for the smallest relative cost.

For cars and buses, definately hydrogen. It is prone to explosives, but so is gas - and in case of leak, gas stays on the ground, burning. Hydrogen disperses in the air.

And, to the body fat - I'd much prefer to use the extracted fat for feeding africans than making my car move.

Nitrogen - Even More Prone to Explosion
Nitrogen is most of what makes up Earth's atmosphere... You know, the air? It's not flammable or explosive at all.

How do "Magnetic Turbines" work?

aren't all turbines Magnetic? isn't the the properties of electromagnetism that make turbines work at all?

This whole thread is a joke to begin with.

I meant the Nitrogen as in Nitrous Oxide, the special boost tey puts in teh cars to makes dem go faster
