I won't even refer to it as the Clone Wars, because it was done before, and a hell of a lot better. I hate to be this blunt, and don't think of me as an animated movie hater (loved WALL-E), but this movie was a prolonged battle scene with a bunch of twitchy bobble heads that looked more at home on Easter island than on this movie. I fully expect to see someone shop the count's head in place of one of those statues, and it will get chuckles. There's art form then there's Yoda, which you can't take seriously because he looked like he came out of a bizarre anime machine. You can't take anything seriously with those kind of eyes.

Because of the aforementioned stony faces, emotion in this movie was forced or downright childish. Movies 4 thru 6 depended on endearing and charismatic acting to make them work. That they did well and also why I enjoy them so much. It seems the more CG you put into Star Wars, the less the actors seem like people.

I huge disappointment for me, I watched Space channel's behind the scenes for this movie, which Lucas himself stated something along the lines of: "I feel making CG look like real people is a bad idea". Well that kinda backfired. In my opinion, This movie should have been handled by PIXAR, They've made some brilliant works in the past.

I had no problem with the animation. Some of the combat scenes looked really cool.

The story was alright. As far as I am concerned it's more similar to an extended universe novel than the original movies.

The movie is based on Genndy Tartakovsky work of short by the same name. Shown on the cartoon network these peaces were heavy on action, low on chatter, and stylized out the wazoo. From what I have seen it is faith full to the source material (exeptions include Aniken's padiwan and a prolonged plot). I loved the shorts and I want to see this film. If you complained about the amount of action in the film then I don't think you did your home work. Besides King George barely got his grubby mitts on it so I think it should be good.

As a casual Star Wars fan, I don't feel like I should have to do my homework to enjoy it. The problem with the action is that when its action all the time, it becomes stale. After seeing the hundredth droid fall, it get a bit tedious, no?

I haven't seen it (yet). However, when I saw it on a billboard, I thought "Didn't George Lucas not one year ago say that he WOULDN'T make another Star Wars movie?"

I haven't seen any of the animated series, but my first impression is 'Meh.'

As long it ain't Hayden Christen...something HAR HAR HAR ehhhh.......no seriously.
I don't even consider the 3rd episode of Starwars, a starwars film. If they could fix the dialogue, the story, the etc....

I think that George Lucas still misses his old franchise and still wants film a Starwars movie. Look at Indiana Jones 4 Badum tish?
