Hey Escapists, I heard this on a rather interesting interview on TVO's Search Engine with Sir Tim Berners Lee, they were discussing HTML and the topic came up of how HTML just seemed to keep on evolving. During this, Tim mentioned that he'd like to have HTML also be capable of Peer-to-Peer file sharing in order to combat censorship.
The idea is pretty much as follows, if your browser can't connect to a page, it'll automatically start looking for cached versions of that page from other sources and use the cached version.
So I put it to you, is this a good idea?
