Welcome to the Off-Topic Topic discussion. It occurred to me that this forum is in terrible danger of being sucked down a wormhole or exploded into many funny shapes, whatever it is when the laws of physics and nature go astray. Consider this. You are in an Off-Topic forum, discussing the things which do not have anything to do with any other forum here. Whenever somebody goes off topic here, do you not realize the impact it has upon the fabric of the universe?
It's like with Arthur Dent in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. He says something rather unthinkingly, and then a wormhole in space-time opens up and sends his words into a peace conference on an alien world, starting up a brutal war and you know the rest. (If you don't, read the book or watch the movie. It's a lark, either way.) One day, someone will say the exactly wrong thing in an Off-Topic topic and the universe will convulge, like if somebody knew The Great Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything...and then knew the answer...when the two aren't allowed to co-exist properly in the same universe.
Speaking of Hitchhiker's Guide, I like the bits in there about towels. Hilarious stuff. I-
OhshitI'mofftopic!
This is a funny/ridiculous discussion, but if the universe actually worked this way (and we have no proof that it doesn't), what would you say the effect would be and what it would take to make it happen?
