Now, I want to get The Orange Box of Amazon.

Usually, I get thing for my PS3, I preffer the feel of the controls, and it runs games with gorgeous graffics (or at least just the games I own).

However, I am aware that Valve left the PS3 version to EA, who fucked it up. I feel inclined to get it for PC, but I'm more comfortable playing FPSs on consoles, and my PC is a heap of shit, I'd be lucky to run it on medium graffics, but I probably wont run into any problems first.

O wise and mercyful Escapist, bestow your wistom apon me!
Everyone says EA messed it up for the PS3, but in all honesty I've never found anything wrong with it.
If you prefer a pad over a mouse and keyboard set up, then go with the PS3 version. I was introduced to portal on the PS3, & it was freakin ace.
is it true that the ps3 version of team fortress 2 doesn't have the updates? I have a ps3 and i was just wondering.

I bought it on PS3 cause I too prefer that type of gameplay with a controller and on the big screen. The only time I regretted this decision was when I found out about this site's TF2 competition only for PC. Oh well...

PS3.
If your comp can't really handle it, you might as well get it for the console. FPS work better with a controller anyway (sorry PC guys, not tryin to start a flame was here).
EA just handled a port. There's nothing wrong with it.

I have it on both the pc and the ps3 with the same issue, it looks nicer on the ps3 cuz my pc is not that great for gaming, but the pc version has much more content. I would say that Half Life 2 and Portal would work better for ps3 in this situation, but TF2 would work better for pc; or at least, thats how it is for me.

Truth be told I say to get it for 360. If you don't have a 360, then go for PC. You'll get the updates for free. 360 is supposed to get them eventually . . . and PS3 is never getting them(most likely).
No, not most likely. Never, it's already set in stone. Valve likes Microsoft, and want to like Apple (though Apple doesn't seem to care about the biggest thing holding them back?), but they seem to hate Sony, by way of not even releasing Left 4 Dead on it and outsourcing The Orange Box.

Never buy a Valve game on any system otherthen PC. You will miss out on all the new stuff. I don't think console users have even received all the new content that has been added in the past two years. My computer is pretty crappy as well, but playing a low setting is a small price for new content.

Go to your nearest retailer and you can get it on the console for about $20 new.
You can get it on PC for 20 bucks [http://store.steampowered.com/app/440/] too, and it's tax-free.
Er, that's just Team Fortress 2, not the whole Orange Box...

That's because it got patched up the ass (eventually). Used to be a lot of graphical issues and bugs.

Cons of PS3 version: Finding people to play against, probably never any class updates.
