This isn't just a spam thread like the other one, i'm addressing an issue here:

doyou think britan should adopt the euro? why? do you think the world should adopt one currency? if so what?

i for one am of the oppinion that the world should make a new currency alltogether and replace all others, this would help everything as it means that you're money would never be un-useable no matter where you are

EDIT: please quit being pedantic and saying the euro only applies to europe, i am aware of this and i am only asking hypotheticaly about the world adopting the euro

I think the world should have a universal currency. I don't normally do such short, simplistic posts, but that's all there is to say.

I say fuck money and go back to the barter system. I would rather trade two chickens and a cow for a car then pay 20,000 dollars.

I say the U.K. and Germany should end their current system and go to the Mark. THAT would be a powerful currency.

Reichsmark, obviously

eta if the BNP get in power somehow, then this would just complete the country's slide into hilarious, genocidal irony.

That actually would be quite entertaining if not a bit inconvenient.

Car salesman: Ah, I see sir is interested in our new Lamborghini Murcielago!.
Buyer: Yes I am..how much is it?
Car salesman: 745,000 chickens sir..and a cow!. The insurance for this car type will also cost you an additional 2500 Ilama's.

On a more serious note, I think the world should just invest on virtual money, e-credit or plastic cards. It would solve so many things in one go.

Screw the euro, the UK should keep the pound. Basically I think the current system is fine as it is, though I'm not so sure about the Euro concept in the first place, and not just in Britain. But yeah, we should definitely stay with the pound (Black Monday, 1992, anyone?).

There has been a lot of criticism on the Euro before it was adopted in most of the EU, but by now it seems that most of it has been proven wrong, since the effects of the new currency have been mostly positive and strengthened the position of the EU on the world market. So yeah, why not?

E: On the other hand, thanks to the low course of the Pound everything is really cheap on the other side of the North Sea. So it certainly wouldn't bother me if the Brits want to stick to their currency.

We should have a universal currency, a new one so no one can rage about being left out or unfairness.

Therefore, no more activision overcharging us!
