I just finished the prologue, where you escape from the Nazi torture facility after your "brother" is killed, raced back to the farmhouse, and saved the girl. The middle-aged dude I was traveling with turned to the door and shot the lock off. But here is the wierd part: He wasn't holding a gun. He made the motions with his hand for squeezing a trigger, but I couldn't see a gun in his hands. I heard the gunshot and saw the lock get blown off, but no gun. So my question to those who have also seen this: Mind Bullets, or Invisible Gun?

Mind Bullets, because the phrase reminds me of one of my favorite Tenacious D songs.

How about the power to kill a yak from 200 yards away?
With mind bullets!
That's telekinesis, Kyle!
How about the power...to move you?

OT: I'd go with mind bullets too. For the same reason given in the above quote.

We should've went with the invisible helicopter.

OT: I guess it was some sort of clipping error.

Mind bullets just seem plain cooler than invisible gun. I'm gonna go with them.

Maybe it's like what happened in the movie Crank.

He holds up his hand in a gun shape and someone behind him shoots it.

Anyway...

I mean really, if given the choice how are mind bullets not better than an invisible gun in every way possible?

No there is a cheat code to get the invisible gun

you open you disk tray take the game out and throw it across the room as hard as you can. If it comes back you unlocked it.

[/sarcasm]

I actualy got a kid to fall for that in Gears 2 when he did not know how to get the tourque bow on a map.

OT: It was just a glitch when I played there was a mugnum in his hands

Heh heh, yeah, MB was a reference to Tenacious D, but Invisible Gun was a reference to Yugi-Oh Abridged.

and THAT is why an invisible gun is cooler
The 4kids version of Yu-Gi-Oh shows why an invisible gun is actually rather shit.

I say it's that bloke from the X-Files. You know, the one who can see through walls.

Man, I love that game. It's still less glitchy than 99% of Pandemic's stuff, though. Only now...no patch...since they're gone.

*cries over Pandemic*

Cutscene begins at 4:03, he shoots the lock at 4:45. He's got a pistol in his right hand the whole time.

Glitches like that generally aren't ubiquitous sometimes they happen sometimes they don't.

I'm gonna vote for invisible gun because he would be the main character if he had something cool like that, an invisible gun is bad because its hard to tell if your aiming right and you cant reload it easily, something a French person would carry.

I am going to go with what Limasol said: It was a clipping error that doesn't always happen. I was looking at his hand, there was no gun. He made the motions, and squeezed his finger like he was pulling a trigger, but there was no gun. It just seemed funny to me, and I couldn't help but think of a combination of Tenacious D and Yugi-Oh Abridged.
