Personally, I prefer pie, it's filling tends to be moister, which means you don't need a glass of milk to eat it.

as Bad as it sounds Cherry Pie is my Favorite deserts ever especally the way I make it with Chocolate Chip cookie crust and fresh, sweet, ripe cherries.

I'll say pie. Just because I'll pretty much enjoy every kind of pie, pumpkin, lemon, chicken, etc.
While there are some amazing cakes out there, most of them are pretty bland and generic.
