Let me first start out this thread with a disclaimer- yes, I did, in fact, use the search button to look up all the other Prototype threads, and while I realize threads about the game Prototype have been made before, I'm just trying to consolidate all of that info in one thread related to the game.

For those of you who want to know what's going on in a nutshell, basically Prototype is an open-world quasi-superhero game about a mysterious man/lab subject named Alex Mercer who escapes from a pair of scientists experimenting on him at the start of the game, who gained shapeshifting powers that allow him to turn his hands into giant claws and absorb the 'biomasses' of other humans, absorbing their memories as well, and is looking for revenge on the people that made him this way, in addition to finding out what's going on with the enigmatic plague wracking the city of New York that the game takes place in and the special military group investigating it.
So! Now that that's out of the way, the release date for Prototype is June 9th in North America, and June 12th in Europe. I'm not sure as to when it releases in other countries, but I'm sure the links above will contain some relevant info. So, feel free to use this thread for any and all discussion regarding Prototype the game in general, and what your thoughts are about it.
