So i played the witcher one and two, and enjoyed the characters, world, motivations etc and i was wondering if anyone who has read the books could tell me if its simular, i enjoy reading alot and im always looking for new books, i was actualy out shopping today in the afternoon looking for this book:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blood-Elves-Andrzej-Sapkowski/dp/0575084847/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1338675683&sr=8-1
The first novel in the witcher series (not including the short stories), alas to no avail could i actualy find a copy so amazon is the place i'll be getting it from, but before purchase i was just wondering how the game and books compare, because if its anything like the game then i know im in for a good read.
Added a pole for lazy feedback.

Ok so firstly thanks for the feedback so far, i think i need to clarify somthing though, im not asking if the books and games have a continueous story what im asking is do they share simular plot elements, characterisation, and so forth, and yes in reply to Vicarious Reality's question the games are based on the books, which is why i wanted to know howmuch they have in common.
