Based on these trailers: no.
I do not want yet another cover-based shooter. I do not want lock-on, clue-your-back-to-a-wall linear game where the main selling points appears to be guns, killing, cybernetics and killing with guns and cybernetics.
What I do want, is a FPS-RPG with multiple solutions to the same problems, with mood and plot and dialogue taking the center stage boldly, with multiple factions with their own philosophical stance on world issues battling out for supremacy.
What I want, in short, is Deus Ex III, not the cover-based FPS inspired by ripping off Deus Ex.
If Deus Ex III is what we are delivered, then that is what I shall buy post-haste. But as things are, it is too soon to judge that.
