So did these images make you yawn? or was it just me asking if you yawned that made you yawn.

Why do you guys think people yawn? And why are yawns contagious?

I can see people yawning cause they are bored or tired but what about times you yawn for no apparent reason. What do you think? Is it like a evolutionary thing or what?

The first image is quite suggestive.

I didn't yawn at any of that. Besides being tired/bored, I'd imagine yawning would come into play if, in a normal situation, you built a small oxygen debt by not breathing quite as much as you should.

If I'm yawning it's because I only had 2 hours sleep last night, got up at 7:30am and just did a 3 hour exam on Theodore Dreiser and The American City.

However, I am not yawning.

Not having an "i'm not yawning" option wasn't the strangest to me, it was the "I cant STOP yawning now" that was a bit odd.

So there are currently 4 people out there that will be yawning for the rest of their lives...

some scientist discovered that people have to yawn when they watch videos of people yawning. i dunno if it works with pics, i didn't yawn when i've read the first post.
