Poll: Thoughts on Ice Age 3

I went and saw Ice Age 3 with my little cousin yesterday, and I really liked it for a kids flick. 3-D was impressive, had a lot of funny moments and the story was put together well. Also good addition with the Simon Peg character. The thing is the film is getting panned on a lot of review sites. Are these reviewers just being facetious, or was it really just me who liked it?

I have always liked the original Ice Age, thought it was hilarious.
The second was forgettable, and so will the newest one eventually. Its all about the moment for me I guess.

Yea, that's annoying. So in the first film there's humans then in the third (I haven't seen 2) there's Dinosaurs...

I refuse to acknowledge it's existence purely for fucking up the timeline. And not even in a cool way like The Flintstones.

I concur, however, the first Ice Age wasn't THAT bad. More like decent. Then it went downhill.

I'm too cynical to enjoy children's movies. Even as a child.

And where did the dinosaurs come from? Is that even historically accurate? Any clever people know the answer to that? Because I'm quite curious.

I'm throwing my hat into the 'wTf Dinosaurs' ring. Why are dinosaurs coming at the END of the ice age? I'm so very confused.

Though even without the the series has never exactly churned my butter.

Havn't seen it but I love Ice Age, I couldn't care less about historical accuracy in an animation, and I like dinosaurs!

Still wanting Up to come out in UK sooner though

quite true, although up! was slightly alienated for be because they were going to 'Paradise Falls' which from Fallout 3 was a horrible slaver compound.

I despise Ice Age so I doubt I would like any of the sequels. It's just not funny.
