I remember seeing a video where researchers made 3D that you could feel on your hand, basically they set it to rain and they can feel every drop. I forget if I was blown away by it or unimpressed that that was all they could do with it.
I had expected them to try playing catch with something. Still, thinking back on it it's definitely something they should look into.
Think about every explosion, having specks of dirt fall against your skin or the rain blowing at your face. Even the heat, at a comfortable level of course... we're not trying to kill people here. Or are we? No? Aww... I guess we'll settle for comfortable heat.
