Hmmm... I would of thought it would end at Saw III.
so I stopped watching it there. It's starting to get a bit like [insert movie franchise that ran out of story many films ago].

So I doubt I'll watch it. at least not until I watch the previous ones.

A side note: it says coming this Halloween: October 23.

Halloween is October 31. XD
It just means the Halloween season.

And no, I won't watch it, it's getting old.

I won't be seeing it. I haven't enjoyed any of the Saw movies and I doubt this will do anything to change my mind.

I've never seen a Saw movie despite most of my friends liking them, however whenever I mention a movie such as 28 days later or dawn of the dead they've never heard of it, so I suppose it comes down to different preferences.

..the hell? 6? I haven't even seen 1 yet. How did they rack up those numbers so fast?
My time to spill the beans on saw, uh hum:
Bad story line, simple scenes, simple plot, easy set up, quick film time because of low quality, gore is low budget, they use the same location, generally they are the easiest films in the world to make

Damn...all this negativity about Saw. I personally LOVE the saw films...I believe them to be the exact opposite of:

But each to his own and fair enough.

I can't see it in the cinema either...but Saw films have a tenancy to be on DVD very soon after release/people make pirates quickly. Not saying I endorse all that shit, but when it is saw...

I might watch it, but only as a rental, I'm not paying to see it at the cinema. Firstly because I hate the sound of people grazing on popcorn next to me, and secondly because it's cheaper to rent, and I feel comfortable laughing the more grisly deaths.

A man of saw! Lol...I laughed at the idiots in saw 4 (or was it 5?) who could all have lived if they weren't such selfish idiotic bums.

Maybe 'saw' some clips at best. Not the biggest fan of horror, but Saw 1, 2 and maybe 3 can be worth watching for me. Think I should?

Yes. In my opinion, the storyline is gripping as hell, and if you don't mind the gore it is a credible series.

Never watched.

Never got into the whole "human torture-porn" fad.

Honestly, I'm surprised there are already six movies.

Well, ALMOST surprised...

meh, I'm not really interested in that series of films, its just gore for the sake of gore, no real plot, etc. Pretty much like any other Western horror, really: mindless.

I don't think I'll be seeing this. I have seen the first two Saw movies and I'm happy to leave it at that. I didn't even now that Saw V had been released yet, so was quite surprised to see the 6th instalment being advertised.

Just as an aside, clicked on the youtube link for the trailer, and there was a comment from a 1 year old stating that they were unable to get in to see the film (surprisingly enough) and then described themselves as a "die-hard" Saw fan. Seriously, how does a 13 year old become a die hard Saw fan? Being, what, 8 years old when the first film was released...

They need to let another franchise be the big Halloween movie.

I mean, 6 years in a row of being the big Halloween horror movie...
