I don't know about you guys but I love thunder storms. We're in one right now and I love it. I love the sound of rain hitting windows. I love the sound of thunder. I love having my house shaken by a particularly strong blast. They're awesome. Plus they're a great excuse to sit inside and play games, especially horror games. What do you guys think of them? Love them? Hate them? Scared of them?

I like them. I find them relaxing, and I also find it hilarious how some of my family members are afraid of them.

I don't like them because they sometimes make the power go out. That's really the only reason. They don't scare me, and I actually like any time it rains, but the power going out doesn't make me happy.

Heck yes! I like the sound of rainy white noise, the smell afterward, etc. I'm especially fond of thunderstorms on a chilly, biting day <3

Used to be scared shitless of them. Paralyzing fear. (Tad paranoid when I was younger. Therapy helped control that :D)

Now I'm generally indifferent, but the last one was a bit of a *****. Tornadoes touched down in Maine. I think it's okay to be scared of that.

They are pretty meh.
Fun too hear and look at, but shitty when it turns off your house's power and restricts you from doing stuff.

Tornadoes in Maine? The fuck?

The only weather Maine is allowed to have is "hey, its fucking cold, like my balls are inside me right now cold".

I love sitting by the window during the day during a storm...otherwise I enjoy playing my psp or sleeping to the sound of a thunderstorm....or reading.

I love sitting on my windowsil during thunderstorms and watching the lightening + listening to music.
Theres something soothing about sitting somewhere safe while something so inherently violent is going on so close.

I love them, they look awesome and I like feeling insignificant compared to nature, it's only really waves that can make me feel that way as well. (That I can see from my house anyway, I'm sure volcanoes and numerous other things would do the same)

My house got hit once, the chimney fell off and went through our car. Smashed the whole drivers seat roof down and took off the steering wheel, left a hole in our roof that we could see out of and blew most electronics.
My computer got fucked, got in through my modem and melted bits and blew phone sockets off the walls leaving black holes all around the house.

We had to move out for a while. :D

I love going to sleep in a goo storm. Thankfully, its one of the least sunny cities that i'm in.

I love a good thunder storm! Power failures get annoying at times, but they do present an excuse to light a candle and read something spooky!

They usually occur when I have to go somewhere to eat, and so my family fannies around trying to avoid the deadly torrents of rain so that their beautiful clothes aren't ruined.

All I want is some food, and God attempts to thwart my machinations once more! That simply will not do.

When I'm playing games, we have a mutual agreement. I don't bother the thunder storm, and the thunder storm will rightly assume that our rich neighbours' house is the taller.

Yes, I'm a Lord, but one has to keep up with the Joneses, even if the Joneses live about 10 miles away.

I like thunder Storms but only when they come and go sparingly. We've had nothing but thunderstorms for the last month. Once and awhile is fine with me. Four weeks of storms? Yuck...

I want a nice day at the beach. You know, a day without hail and lightning?

Yes. I love trying to predict when the next rumble after the flash is. I've never been in any danger during a storm but once a tree at the end of my road exploded and half of it fell over, crushing the guy's fence and blocking most of the road.

I like them, I like heat better, but if it has to be cold, why not go all the way and have a storm?
