I just stumbled upon this small story on kotaku.com.
Tim Burton Not "Real Hardcore Gamer", But Interested In Games [http://kotaku.com/5331156/tim-burton-not-real-hardcore-gamer-but-interested-in-games]
Apparently, Tim Burton's upcoming film, an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, is getting a video game version, which he's been helping develop alongside the movie. keep in mind that this isn't the first time Tim Burton has been paired with the video game universe. Remember that rumor about him directing a Grim Fandango movie? [http://kotaku.com/190422/rumor-tim-burton-to-direct-grim-fandango-uwe-boll-weeping-softly]
Months ago, Stephen Speilberg brought us Boom Blox, proving to the world that all it takes is a creative mind to make a good game, regardless of that mind's original profession. Could the same be said about Tim Burton?
Tim Burton in video games? What do you guys make of this?
Do you think Tim Burton could make a good video game?
Personally, I think Tim Burton could make a unique game if he wanted to; it just won't be the upcoming Alice in Wonderland game. Movie tie-ins suffer from low production values, rushed effort, and just overall poor quality control. If Burton does decide to dabble into the world of video games, it had better be something of his own creation..........[small]that stars Johnny Depp[/small]..........
