So...would it be possible to travel sideways to a universe where the Big Bang happened 20 years later but played out the exact same, essentially giving me the ability to see the past? Or 20 years earlier to essentially see into the future?

Edit: This doesn't even bring into account traveling to other universes and interacting with your other-selves...Maybe travel to a universe where you picked to be able to travel to the future/past?

I hadn't even thought of these possibilities.
This is why I like asking these sort of questions, it will help make sure I make the best choice when it happens for real

I would travel backwards because being a teenager was quite fun and I wouldnt mind sharing some insight to make it even better.

Can i travel sideways , and take over the life of an alternate self that's doing way better than i am? Because i choose the alternate reality where i am a billionaire .

If not , i choose to go foward in time and see where i'm going to end up . Now logically , anything i do in the present would result in me getting to that point ( including trying to not get to that point ) so if it sucks , my only other option is to kill myself. Which i won't hesitate to do if i knew for certain my future wasn't worth living.
